In the following days, Alphonse was constantly absent from home due to his mysterious business. He never bothered to tell me about it, and quite frankly, I had no desire to know. But he did inform Juno and Ajar that I was free to come and go as I pleased. The only catch? His henchman would tail me wherever I went.
