A GAME OF DARES C5

When the report landed on his table on Friday afternoon, he felt his blood boil. Fucker. The friend she mentioned was an ex-boyfriend. The man was already married and the party was for his two-year old daughter. That’s the party she’s going to? Why would she go there? It seemed ominous to him. Does she still have feelings for the bastard? He looked through the man’s profile and he was quite ordinary, be it his looks or his accomplishments. The man was nothing compared to him. Why would she prefer someone worse? The f**k? He felt extremely irritated as he watched the kid’s birthday party from afar. They held it in their backyard and there were only a handful of visitors. Tisha brought a present for the child and she spoke a few times to her ex and his wife. He envied the way she looked at the man. There was a prickly feeling in his chest as the idea formed in his head. Does she still love him? He remained in the vehicle and kept watching. For some reason, he wanted to make sure nothing’s going to happen between the two of them. He would march out there and separate them if he has to. Since it was a kid’s birthday party, it ended quite early. He was relieved when she finally walked away from the house. He told his driver to follow her and it took her a while to notice. She was initially creeped out until she noticed the plate number. It was one of the vehicles Callum have used in the past. She stopped on a sidewalk and waited for it to catch up. “What are you doing here?” She asked in a frown when the car door opened and she saw him with an extremely serious expression. He looked pissed and squinting at her. “Get in.” Hmm, she only hesitated for a few seconds before taking a seat inside. “How did you know where I am?” She asked but he was not in the mood to reply. The vehicle drove towards a hotel and silence hung between them. Tish was feeling a little tired so she stopped wondering and closed her eyes. Her nap was shallow and she woke up just as the vehicle finished parking. “Come with me.” Callum escorted her out and they got into a suite. It was a familiar place, probably one of the suites they have occupied before. “That guy was your ex, right?” His expression was somewhat scary. Tish became slightly afraid of him and gulped. “How did you . . . were you spying on me?” Tish didn’t like the tone he used and she was rattled. It was as if he caught her cheating, which didn’t make sense. They’re not in a relationship! “Is that the kind of man you want? Someone already married?” “Of course not! I don’t want to be someone’s mistress. I’m not a homewrecker. How dare you think of me in such a way?” She felt indignant of his accusation. “That’s good, then. I don’t like whores.” She was stunned by his choice of words and raised an eyebrow. “Are you calling me a w***e?” Her eyes reddened from anger and disbelief; he was jolted upon seeing it. s**t, what did he just say? “No. That’s not what I said.” He was sure she just misunderstood. “That’s what you implied, you bastard. I don’t believe this.” She began shaking her head as she smiled in mockery, yet she was also in tears. It hurt him to see her that way. “No, really. That’s not what I meant, Tish.” He was alarmed by her reaction. This exchange wasn’t going so well. “We’re done! I’m done with you!” Her heart ached saying those words, but she was hurt. She didn’t think he thought so low of her. Well, what could she expect? She was just someone who agreed to f**k him on a weekly basis. They’re nothing more than strangers. “No, Tish.” He grabbed her before she could even take a step away from him. “Look. My family wanted to meet you, but you declined. Instead, you went to see that man. To me, it meant he was more important. I saw how you looked at him and I was jealous. Do you understand what I’m getting at? Do you still love him?” Tish was surprised to see various emotions in his face. She was not expecting him to say such words, but she understood what they meant. “No. I don’t. We’ve been over for years. He has a family now. He’s just a friend. Really.” Somehow, she’s weirded out by the fact that she’s now consoling him. She’s supposed to be angry at him! She disliked how quickly he turned the tables. In that moment, she was afraid that she’s being manipulated. She gasped when he suddenly kissed her. Aggressively. He demanded and she could only respond. He grasped her body, tightly holding her against his. For a moment, she was afraid they would just f**k each other’s brains out. Just like old times. But she feared the tides have changed. They’re at a crossroads. Was it possible that he has also developed feelings for her? It seemed like it. Otherwise, why would he get jealous? Right? She expected him to proceed to seducing her, and getting her on the bed to f**k . . . but that didn’t happen. He only kissed her and caressed her, like he couldn’t get enough. “I want you. Please, be mine?” She saw the trepidation in his eyes and she was glad to see it. He was unsure and she liked to know he was just like her. After his previous admission, she felt that he meant this current statement. “You . . . do you like me?” She directly asked and for some reason, her heart began to race. She was nervous. She was afraid that he would say otherwise, despite hearing his earlier statements. “I do. I like you.” His confession was heartfelt and he pressed his forehead against hers. She gently placed her hand against his chest, wanting to know if he’s as nervous as she was. She smiled at the answer she found. Her heart felt at ease and she sighed in relief. They shared a few minutes of silence hugging each other. “You want me to meet your family?” She remembered the cause of their scuffle. Now, the idea wasn’t as weird. If he likes her, then it somewhat made sense that he wanted to introduce her to his parents. “Yes. My mom wants to meet you.” “Do you think they’ll like me?” She knew nothing about them so she felt lacking. “They’ll love you.” He was sure of it. His mom would be ecstatic if she learns they’re dating. And then . . . well, he’d rather not scare her with what’s to come. They should take things slow. He didn’t want to scare her. She looked at him with disbelief. “Would they?” He nodded and said, “I’m sure of it.” “Next week?” “I’ll let them know.” “Okay.” He was relieved that they finally had an agreement. He kept hugging her. He was truly rattled earlier. For a moment, he thought they’re done and he won’t see her again. “You scared me.” He weakly stated and kissed the top of her head. “What?” “You said we’re done. Were you planning to cut me off of your life when you said that?” She pursed her lips. “I just hate it when people accuse me. No matter what it is. If someone accuses me, I hate them already. And I don’t want them in my life.” He grimaced. He still doesn’t know much about her but he planned to rectify that. “I’ll keep that in mind.” “Do you really like me?” It would seem she has a different concern. “I do. Do you want me to prove it to you?” His tone turned seductive and she was clear what method he’s going to use. He made love to her and she felt like drowning. Their emotions have been added to the mix and it was new to both of them. He kept kissing her even as he pounded into her insides. They reached several heights of pleasure throughout the night and she couldn’t be more satisfied. He remained insatiable, though. He didn’t let up until she fainted on him. He seriously exhausted her limit. When the next weekend came, Tish was feeling nervous. She can’t help it. Callum did his best to assure her. “You have nothing to worry about.” When they arrived at the restaurant, his mom got up to receive them. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you! I’ve heard you’ve been seeing each other for a while already, so I’ve been curious. I hope we didn’t disrupt any of your schedules?” “Oh, no. I have nothing going on today. It’s nice to meet you, too.” Callum’s mom beamed. Her son found a beautiful young lady. She seemed collected and exuded confidence. She liked that for her son. A woman should be reliable and not wholly dependent on their partner. She had her investigated and she knew Callum was aware of her action. The fact that her son didn’t try to stop her was very telling. The woman has a clean background, albeit very ordinary. She also got a report that her son hasn’t gifted her with lavish presents. She was always wary of how much Callum has spent on the women he’d been involved with. It’s a red flag which her son usually ignored. It can’t be helped, he said. And since he has so much money, spending some for the ladies couldn’t be considered a waste. It still worried her but the girl in front of her was clearly different. They all sat down before the introductions continued. When Colin gave his full name, Tisha began frowning. “What’s wrong?” Callum asked in a whisper when he noticed her expression. “Your brother is Colin Alvarez?” She felt like she heard the name before. “Yes. What about it?” “So, your full name is Callum Alvarez?” The moment she uttered his name, it all clicked in her head and her eyes widened. What the f**k? He’s freaking Callum Alvarez? She’d heard of him before and she has a vague recollection of his article photos. “Wait . . . you’re Callum Alvarez?” She ended up exclaiming it.
