I am speechless right now. Even Gloria seems surprised by the sudden visit from Heather, Horace’s little sister.
“Aunty, what happened to you?” Gloria asked while looking at the bruises over her aunt’s face and wrists.
“It’s nothing. I’m sorry, Gloria. I admit that I was wrong, and I didn’t mean to do such things to you and your brother. I shouldn’t be too greedy by taking what is rightfully yours. It turns out I have nothing because my brothers took everything from me. My husband hates the idea that I am penniless and decided to hit me every chance he has.” I watched as Heather cried in front of Gloria.
