Two hours later as the sun was hanging low in the western sky, Wade, Seth, and Mack rode out of the stable yard. There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man. Mack remembered reading Winston Churchill had once said that. At the moment Mack couldn’t have agreed with the man more. The feeling of being back in the saddle after years away from, not only horses, but the open spaces of the west where he’d been raised, took away the butterflies he’d been feeling since he and Seth had signed the letter of intent to buy an hour before. Roswell had flown off in the chopper, and Wanda had invited the men to stay the night. Tomorrow he and Seth would drive back to Boise, then fly to Billings and begin the task of securing financing for Stallions and Studs. W
