Chapter 16As Sébastien raced along the tunnel, a couple of decaying corpses tried to bar his way, but Sébastien slashed with his haladie, easily beheading them both, and kept running. By the time he caught up with Henri, he’d wounded one of his adversaries.
The man was rising unsteadily to his feet, and Sébastien attacked him, using his haladie ruthlessly to kill his enemy. However, in the seconds it took to deal with the man, the cloaked man had succeeded in disarming Henri, and was poised to kill his friend.
