Some minutes after Edythe left the house, Hamilton arrived and knocked on the door.
"Good morning sir," Rica greeted as she opened the door. She was carrying her backpack and was fully ready for school.
After she shut the door behind them, Hamilton had to ask as he could not see her mother coming to join them. "Isn't your mother going to work this morning?"
"She already left."
"Wow...!" Hamilton was surprised. Rica had told him that her mother would be around when he comes to pick for school.
After they entered the car and the engine was on and ready to be put to work, Hamilton said to Edythe. "Does she always leave so early?"
"Yes, to meet her, you will have to come earlier or stay late into the night."
Then Hamilton drove the car without saying any other words in regards to that.
