On that same day, Hamilton was in the hotel with his buddies who had come to see him as he arrived. They had come to know the reason behind his unannounced absence in the office and why he refused to take their calls. They even went over to his house but were not able to see him. That was when he went over to the house to Edythe.
When he saw Mason and John come to see him in the office as he arrived, he predicted why they had come and his presumption was a very absolute and definite one.
