Rica was dumbfounded at this point, she could not say anything again. Even the things her mother was still saying were not entering her head. She could not believe that she had known her father for such a period of time yet she was not told. She could not believe that her mother knew this but was lying to her. She could not believe that the person she wished to be her father was really her father and was the person that abandoned her mother, causing her to suffer all by herself. Most of all, she now understood why she has so much love and connection with him.
In all this, since she could not say anything to her mother, she just stood up from the chair and walked into the room to rest and think over what she had heard and what she would do.
