"Are you Mr. Liam?" asked the little boy looking up because Liam was so tall above him.
Liam quickly crouched down to align himself with the boy. He smiled gently and reached out to touch the boy's cheek.
The boy dodged slightly as if he didn't like being touched. Liam and Jayden grew up together since childhood. Jayden's father is Liam's mother's older brother and they are the children of busy parents, so to keep them safe and well cared for, they have lived since birth in the extended family's mansion, under the tutelage of their elder, their grandmother.
Of course Liam knows exactly what Jayden was like as a child and this boy, almost a photocopy of Jayden as a child, from the look on his face, the way he talks, to the way he looks.
