In Leap, Prince Richard did not get to reflect on what happened. He was still fuming that Ziva left with Jason when Oscar and Walter came with the news that shook him to the core. He had asked them to investigate who was behind Lola’s exposure but what they discovered instilled the fear of God in him.
“How long before they go off?” he asked, terrified. All he could think about was he should have not let Ziva go. Had he not nursed his pride, she, his babies and sisters would be home safe.
“The first one should go off in 30 seconds,” Walter responded. “Our technician can spot Jason’s jet, it’s over the ocean but we are unable to communicate with them,” he added, trying his best keep his cool. Acting as the head of intelligence in Wade’s absence was more stressful than he ever imagined.
