New York was the busiest city I have ever seen. I understood this as soon as I got off the plane and called a taxi to the hotel. Its streets were overly busy, but even so, I couldn't help but find it beautiful. I was not used to the cold climate of the city and at the airport I had to buy a jacket before going out. In reality, I was not even used to all that frenzy, for years I had run away from the confusion and had holed up in the house.
