Chapter 6 She Is Special

(Alexa's POV) After which, having no one to talk to, I closed my eyes to rest. I didn't even know that I had already fallen asleep in his arms. All I felt at that moment was that I was in the safest place, comforting me in a way that I didn't need to worry anymore about anything else. "Wow, you bring a woman this time, huh?" Suddenly, I heard a voice of a lady, pulling me back from my deep sleep. Slowly, I opened my eyes.It was already morning. "Who the hell is she?" "Why is Alpha holding her?" Again, I heard the same voice somewhere around me. Only then did I recall that someone had woken me up from my sleep earlier. I shifted my gaze again and there I saw the woman who had just spoken. But looking at her expression, she appeared not in a good mood at the sight of me. One of her eyebrows was raised against me as she didn't even bother to hide her displeasure when looking at me. What was with this woman? I couldn't help but frown a bit the moment I saw her. "She's just someone I picked somewhere in the wild. I have some business to deal with. From now on, she will be in your care. You will train and teach her everything she needs to learn." Ezekiel replied nonchalantly. But what happened the next moment had immediately jolted me completely awake. Just like the last time, I suddenly felt I was falling, only to hear a loud thud the next moment. Although I managed to stretch my arms to support my upper body, I failed to save my ass, thus, it received most of the damage from the impact. I didn't need to think twice to know that Ezekiel, that bastard, dropped me off carelessly again. "You..." I clenched my teeth indignantly as I glared at Ezekiel. "You bastard! Why do you always hurt me?! Can't you at least be more gentle..." But he didn't care, he turned around and left. How rude! "Hey!" I was about to go after him... Sapak! I had just finished my words when suddenly, something really hard hit my cheek, taking me by shock. I was yet to realize what had just happened when suddenly, someone grabbed my cheeks and pulled me up from the ground. I was hanged in the grip of that someone's hand as that someone lifted me in the mid-air. "Ah! Let... Let..." I struggled, but I was too weak to retaliate. I could only grab the other party's hand, hoping the other party to remove the grip off my face. Still, I was like a helpless lamb in the hand of a vicious wolf. I felt a suffocating pain. "Say that again, you little b***h. How dare you speak ill words to the great Rogue Alpha, the savior of our lives?!" And then I heard a voice full of anger. Only then did I catch sight of that someone holding me helpless. But why wasn't I surprised the moment I saw her? In fact, it was to the point that I already expected her to act violently against me. "Heh, you don't have a wolf?" And she didn't forget to humiliate me. It was no other than the woman from a little while ago. I didn't know why, but this woman was really hot-blooded against me. I didn't recall offending her in any way though. What was her problem with me? "Elle." When I thought that the other party would continue her aggression, a voice so cold, yet warming my heart, suddenly spoke. I could tell that it was Ezekiel who had just spoken. Was he about to save me this time? "She's mine to eat. You should know that I hate anyone who messes with my things, right?" Ezekiel's words were like cold water pouring the small flicker of fire within me. To think that this guy didn't really want to save me. He just didn't want anyone else to touch his things. Basically, he still thought of me as his thing and not a person. More precisely, he thought of me as his food to eat. But what else could I expect from such a wicked man? Meanwhile, the woman, whose name was Elle, finally hesitated. Realizing her situation, she clicked her tongue in dejection as she finally let go of me. Although the way she did it was harsher as she threw me down to the ground more carelessly than how Ezekiel did it. "Please forgive me, Rogue Alpha. I'm just trying to teach her a lesson just as you ordered me. Didn't you say I need to teach her everything she needs to learn? I think she should learn to respect Alpha first." Elle responded with a tone of voice that felt so sarcastic. “...” Her words tightened my heart. I couldn't find a word to retort as I could only glare at her fiercely. If only I had the strength to back me up... "She doesn't need to learn these" To my surprise, Ezekiel spoke again, seemingly trying to defend me. He walked closer to the woman named Elle as his hand moved swiftly to grab her cheeks. "She's different, she's special." "Special? " Elle, despite having a hard time speaking, couldn't help but ask in response. Her eyes started to tear up, her tone revealed something like jealousy.Even from a distance, I could see her body shaking as she replied with a tone containing anger, "Then why are you treating her like someone special?" "Elle, You have asked too many questions." Ezekiel's tone suddenly became exceedingly cold. His hand started to reveal some furs as sharp nails started to sprout from the tips of his fingers. " Did I teach you to run your mouth like this? Are you seeking death?" He tightened his grip on Elle's cheeks as he lifted her in the mid-air. But upon seeing the other party who had just closed her eyes in response to him, it appeared like he changed his mind as he let go of her. That gave relief to Elle although she was now panting as if she was having a hard time catching up some breaths. “Now, can I entrust her to you?” "Do I still have a choice?" Elle replied with a question, averting her gaze away. As indignant as she was about the matter, there was no way on earth could she defy the wishes of the Rogue Alpha. "Good. I will think of it as you accepting my offer." Ezekiel replied nonchalantly as he finally turned around and started to walk his way to leave the place. But just as he took a couple of steps forward, Elle suddenly spoke again, "Does it matter what method I use to train her?" Ezekiel halted his steps as he took a moment of pause before he responded, "It doesn't matter. Just make sure you ‘train’ her." He made sure to emphasize the word "train" in his words. And then he added with his voice that seemed to go cold, "Be it the method of an assassin or a warrior or a hunter, as long as she's not as useless as she is now" "She's fragile as s**t. You won't blame me if she suddenly breaks down, right?" Elle asked again warily. But a cunning and sly tone could be heard from her tone of voice. "Depending on my mood..." Ezekiel replied lazily as he started walking unhurriedly again. I thought Elle's question would end there but suddenly, she spoke again. "One last question, Ezekiel. What's her name?" Her question caught me off guard. Now that I think about it, I hadn't introduced myself to Ezekiel yet. "Ah..." As I thought, Ezekiel was lost for words. He shifted his gaze at me as he spoke again, "Come to think of it, I don't even know your name." I thought he would go ask me my name that was why I was prepared to ignore him to pay him back for all the things he had done to me. But what he did the next moment made my veins pop out on my head involuntarily. "Just ask her or call her whatever you want," Ezekiel replied with an annoying tone. "It's not like it matters to me." After which, he continued walking away again. I tried to smile seeing him leaving, but I ended up gritting my teeth. This bastard, did he really not care about me or even knowing who I am? "My name is Alexa! Alexa Mondragon!" I didn't wait for that brute woman to ask me my name as I shouted, trying to engrave my name into Ezekiel's brain. "Remember my name!" But to my frustration, he simply continued to walk away as though he didn't hear a thing at all. Until he finally disappeared from my sight. That made me grit my teeth even harder. I knew Ezekiel was a bastard. But him frustrating me from time to time was really too much for me. Damn, what the hell? What was I thinking? I better not get myself too carried away and beg for his attention and better treatment. They were going to train me and make me strong. It was almost a godsend.I narrowed my eyes as I stared coldly at the empty space. I just recalled the things that happened to me lately. Savage Tyranny pack... Now that I was free and was given a chance to redeem myself, I would make sure to get stronger and exact my revenge in the future. All of you would regret banishing me to slavery!
