Chapter 4 I Will Kill Her!

1463 Words
(Author's POV) Swoosh! The werewolf, with his extremely fast movements and strength surpassing common sense, easily subdued almost all the Slavers within a flash. The rest few couldn't put up a fight anymore as their bodies could only shudder in sheer terror. They aimed at the werewolf, but their fingers just couldn't pull the trigger of their crossbows anymore. Their subconscious mind was telling it so that the moment they acted against the werewolf, it was their doom that would be realized instead. "Give to him, it's just a woman", someone persuaded gradually "Yeah, I don't want to be eaten by a wolf" Hearing this, Ezekiel just sneered. Do they really think they are delicious? Ridiculous. When the small flicker of their hope was about to vanish, something unexpected happened, bringing them back to light. Everyone, especially the Slavers, turned to look at the source of that voice and there they saw their boss, Roger, holding a certain girl hostage. It was the same girl who he held ever so dearly. The one million cost goody. “Stop your madness, you wicked dog! Or else, I will kill her!” His left arm was gripping her neck, the other hand was holding a knife and was pointing at her flank. One wrong move of the werewolf and he would not hesitate to make a faucet of blood on that certain girl's slender waist. Ezekiel, upon realizing the situation, halted his madness and shifted his gaze at Roger and the girl he held hostage. A low growl escaped his mouth. A dark expression took over his face the moment he saw them, his eyes emitted utter coldness. How dare this human, with filthy hands of his, touch that girl, his mate! This human simply asked for endless misery. His deed was an unforgivable sin that even death couldn't repay for the price it would take. Roger, when he saw the werewolf finally hesitating, grinned with his teeth still bloody. He knew it! The weakness of that werewolf was this little girl. It was the right decision that he risked harming his one million gold in order to drive that werewolf away, or probably subdue it. “...” Ezekiel only stared at the other party nonchalantly though. Severe his limbs off? He couldn't help but reveal a cold smirk in the end. “Stupid” He then disregarded Roger's feelings and outrageous demand as he started walking his way toward him and the damsel in distress. “You... Don't come any closer! Or else, I will definitely kill her!!!” Roger exclaimed. He pressed his knife against the girl's flank and made sure it would bleed. He was taken aback at first when he saw the werewolf approaching him like he was walking in the park. But later, upon realizing the gravity of the situation, what he felt was fear taking over his heart. Could it be that that werewolf really didn't care about this girl at all? Was he wrong to begin with? “Pff... Puahahaha, I don't even know her and you dare hold her hostage against me? Are all humans as naive as you are? At such a young age, I already slaughtered an entire pack. And you filthy humans dare to spout such nonsense in my presence?” Ezekiel started laughing madly as he walked closer. It was like it was the funniest joke he heard after a long time. He gave Roger a death stare as he sneered coldly, “Besides, I fed on human flesh and blood, women are my favorite. Even if you kill her now, it doesn't change a thing at all.” There was another moment of pause before he continued, his tone suddenly bore murderous intent. “Every single one of you, be it slaves or the slavers, will become my food and suffice my stomach tonight.” Ezekiel says this to satisfy the imagination of these stupid humans. “Come, humans. I want to see how will you kill me,” The werewolf suddenly spoke again. But this time, his body started to be covered with thick cyan furs. His appearance became wolf-like, but even then, he still stood with his two feet and appeared like a human. He clenched his fists and then revealed a cold grin, “I think this much is enough to deal with the likes of you. I don't need to use the power of Cadis any more than this.” Kutob! A partial shift! A werewolf who had full control over his wolf! Everyone there was greatly surprised by what they had just witnessed. A feat like that was extremely rare to be seen from a werewolf and it was no doubt a powerful feat. Other than some of the most powerful Alphas, there was only one in the entire world who could achieve such a feat. “You... You... Are you Ezekiel D'raizel?”Roger immediately caught on as he couldn't help but ask. His voice trembled, his expression went pale. His hands shook uncontrollably as he tried his best not to lose his aim. How foolish. Roger's heart sank completely as he finally gave in. He finally felt his body begin to shake wildly. He stared at Ezekiel as his eyes were telling it so. He wanted to beg for mercy. Ezekiel continued his way toward Roger as he halted his steps right in front of him and the little girl he held hostage. The grin on his face seemed like the grin of a grim reaper, going coldly by the passing second. “Any last words?” He asked as he stared directly at Roger dead in the eye. It even seemed like the "hostage" wasn't there as all he could see was Roger and his impending death. Roger swallowed a mouthful of saliva as he replied, “Please... Forg... Ahhhhhhh!!!” He was just about to beg for forgiveness when suddenly, Ezekiel swung his claws against Roger's right arm which was holding a knife. That said, his right arm was cut off, spraying blood everywhere with his severed limb. He cried out aloud as his tears streamed down his face. The moment his right arm was severed, he subconsciously let go of the hostage as he took a couple of steps backward until he fell flat with his ass on the ground. He gripped somewhere near his severed limb, trying to ease the pain. “No, not that. Don't even think of asking for forgiveness. You will be my food tonight,” Ezekiel finally spoke which made Roger realize that there was no hope for his bloody end. He was just about to make another move to let Roger suffer a life worse than death when suddenly... “Just finish it quickly, Ezekiel.” Cadis' voice sounded in Ezekiel's mind. “You've wasted more than enough time. And also, look at our mate. Can't you at least be more careful? You've really scared the s**t out of her. This is your fault! She will definitely not like us anymore!” “...” Ezekiel also realized that just now. He glanced at his mate and, sure enough, the way she looked at him was no way in hell to be good. Her eyes were similar to the countless others who looked at him before. Those eyes were clearly telling how they saw him as a monster. As much as those terrified eyes pained him, Ezekiel tried his best to ignore them. He then shifted his gaze back at Roger as he spoke again, “Tch, how boring. I have changed my mind. I won't let you suffer pain worse than death anymore. Instead...” Ezekiel took a moment of pause as he looked down at the other party. If not for his wolf urging him to hurry up, then he would definitely let that bastard who hurt his mate suffer every torture in existence before finally killing him. He didn't wait another moment to pass as he disappeared from where he was standing. He then reappeared right behind Roger, whose head was now gone missing. Looking at Ezekiel, it appeared like Roger's head was now in his hand, clutching his hair like it was a piece of garbage. What just happened, happened so fast that Roger failed to visualize his own death. After taking care of him, Ezekiel, on the other hand, finally turned to look at his so-called mate. Their eyes finally met again under the moon. An inexplicable feeling soon bloomed within them. For a good while, none of them spoke. That was until the little girl, with her innocent and terrified tone, spoke with a low voice. “If you want to eat me, then please do it quickly.”
