(Completed)They say your life flashes before your eyes right as your about to die, but what if instead, you woke up in a younger version of yourself.

What changes would you make if you had to live your life again?

I didn’t have a clue on what I would do when it happened to me, but I found out quick that life isn’t just what you make it. Money does help things go a bit smoother. A LOT! Never in a million years would I have believed this would happen and I have a fertile imagination. To find myself back at 18 years old and my mind flooded with memories that aren’t mine. Then top it all off with knowing a relative is out to kill you that very day. Well let’s just say, ‘Homey, don’t play that.’ I could handle bullies like her and those my counterpart dealt with at school daily with ease given my experience and true age.

Now what? Do I really have to grow up again? Can I still use my knowledge, skills, true memories to get me through it all? Never was I happier to see a strange Icon on the phone by the bed.

Chapter 1
Dedication: I don't know if anyone will ever get to read this, but I had to write it all out just in case. Kara – you’re a rock star. This book is dedicated to you and those you work with. Keep helping others make their dreams come true.     Chapter 1 It's crazy how one moment in time can change your entire life.  My moment came as I was driving home from the store.  One second the road was clear ahead and the next semi-truck was coming right at me.  Head-on with no chance for me to evade it.  Knowing there was no hope for me to be able to get out of its way in time, I close my eyes and brace for impact waiting for the end to come.  After what felt like forever I open my eyes to see a bright light.  Turning my head, I look for the source thinking that somehow I'm in a hospital, “Did I survive?  What happened? Why aren't I in pain?” I asked myself. I know I'm not dead but can't figure out why. Looking toward the source of the light I see a window with the curtain wide open. I searched the room trying to see anything familiar there are three doors and I’m unsure where they lead so I decided to get up and check partly because for some reason I feel the need to go potty. As I stand it becomes clear my abdomen chest area hurts and a little bit on my upper legs.  “Maybe I was moved here after the accident, but my legs should be shattered from the impact and I shouldn't be able to stand at all.”  I headed to the door in the corner and find a full bathroom.  I do my business and as I go to wash my hands I get the shock of my life.  My face in the mirror is mine but it’s from 30 years ago when I was 18.  “What the heck?” I cry as my wet hands go to my face and run over my facial features then I run my fingers through my long hair.  Mentally to begin comparing my 48-year-old face and features to those in the mirror.  My eye colors the same, but without the puffiness underneath.  My teeth are much whiter than I remember and my cheeks are definitely not as full of fat.  My chin is only doubled not tripled as my almost 50-year-old self had, and my lips basically look the same.  I go back into the bedroom and open the second door to find a fully loaded walk-in closet including a full-length wall mirror, where I get the chance to examine my whole body. I look the same as I remembered, guessing my way to be about 220 versus the almost 300 lbs. I was in the morning before this whole switch thing happen.  At this point to say I'm confused at what's going on is an understatement. I went back into the main room and found a purse with a wallet. Looking inside I find a driver’s license, which bears my full name and my date of birth only 30 years after I was born.  The unknown bedroom and the driver's license are big differences since when I was 18 my family home was much smaller plus I was 21 before I got my driver's license.  My stomach area was still hurting so I walked back into the closet and raise my shirt to see bruises across that and because of the pain when I take a deep breath I'm thinking some ribs might be bruised or worse. Suddenly there's someone pounding on the third door, “Get your ugly fat ass up b***h.  You have to clean the kitchen before we go to the lawyer's office.” yelled an unknown female voice.  Going to the door I unlock it before opening it to confront the lady calling me that name.  It was strange like the longer I was in this body the more of her memory started to surface.  For instance, I know this woman right in front of me is my aunt not my mother.  “Get your lazy ass in the kitchen and cook my breakfast, then clean the mess for my dinner party last night.”  She ordered me then began to walk away.  “NO!” I stated plainly making her turn back to face me again. “What was that, b***h? Because I thought I just heard you say ‘No’ to me.” she questioned me.  “Your ears are working because you heard me correctly, I said NO as in N. O.  No!  I won’t cook anything for you and if you’re hungry make it yourself.  No, I won’t clean the mess you made last night when you invited people I don’t know into MY house without permission.   No, I’m not going to be your slave so get over yourself.” I informed her.  She rushed forward and raised her hand to try to hit me since at this point I know the injuries in my stomach area are from her hitting me in a with a baseball bat 2 days before, I caught her wrist as she swings towards my face, and twisted her arm around behind her back forcing her face into the wall, totally surprising her. “You know what, auntie? I'm over your bullshit abuse of me.  You have 20 minutes to get your clothes together and then leave or I’ll take the video of you hitting me with a baseball bat as punishment for talking back to you 2 days ago to the police and have you arrested for assault.” I warned her as I loosen my hold and push her toward the master bedroom she took over without permission. She looked at my face and could tell I wasn't playing.  “There is no video.” she sneered, “So you have nothing to show the cops.” “Really, you think I didn’t add a few extra cameras after the last time you abused me so I would have something to take to the police and lawyer as proof.  Are you really that stupid?  Because I’m not!  Oh, and as for signing over everything to you today at your lawyers, not going to happen.  Now leave or I’ll take the proof of you forging my signature on that phony will you made up that gives you everything if I die to the authorities.” I inform her. “Also, don’t even think I’m letting you keep any of mom’s jewelry that you’ve stolen so far, just take your clothes and your s**t and get out of my house.  If you come near me or try to pay someone to hurt me everything will be released from the cloud to the police, FBI and news outlets.  All your dirty little secrets will be exposed to the world to see.  If you don't believe me you only have 14 minutes to go before you find out I'm not bluffing.” I tell her eyes I look at my watch. “Snap!  Snap!  Get moving.” I shoo her away from me.  She walked to the master bedroom to pack and I grab the phone to call my lawyer’s office, giving them a heads up on the video proof of my aunt’s betrayal.  I make sure that she can hear the entire conversation as I walked to watch her pack.  “8 minutes auntie, take only your clothes none of my mom’s.  Don't you dare touch that jewelry box, it was my mother's, not yours.   She's not your sister by blood only by marriage, so you have no rights to any of it.”  I reminded her before going back to my phone conversation.  I told my lawyer’s PA, June, to get the paperwork ready for a restraining order against my aunt.  Due to the fact, she planned on killing me and was going to make it look like a suicide, which has surprised on my aunt’s face upon hearing that I knew her plans.  The alarm went off on my watch and I told it was time for her to get her ass out of my house.  “Oh, and by the way, I gathered up all the keys last night to all the cars in the garage except the one that was yours.  So you can't steal any that belong to me.”  I let her know. “You ugly, fat ass, b***h!  I'll get you for this!” she came at me brandishing a knife.  I laughed and stepped to the side just as two police officers my lawyer’s office had called arrived and moved to stand in my place.  It seems June took my aunt’s threats to kill me more seriously than me and called a couple of officers to come to protect me until auntie left.  Her eyes bugged out is they pulled out their guns quickly telling her to drop the knife and put her hands on top of her head.  She complied trying to say she was defending herself, which caused them to laugh as she was asked where my weapon was at.  Then the head officer put her in cuffs letting her know her rights.  The other officer told her that they were outside the room long enough for their body cams to record that I was unarmed while she attacked.  She was fighting them so much so they had to call for backup, which came to help put her in the back of one of their cars before driving her to the station for booking.  A few detectives showed up to question me about her threats to my life.  I gave them a flash drive from my former self had hidden with all the video evidence they needed to put her away.  I also told him about her boy toy a former student of hers was in on a few of the videos where they were planning things together.  Since in the last one he was 18 He could be tried as an adult for conspiring to commit murder to facilitate the theft of everything left to me when my parents died.  Let them to the office we’re all the paperwork she had forged was locked in the desk.  Using the computer scanner I make copies of everything for the lawyer to review.  The officers placed the papers in evidence bags along with a bank statement showing she had begun stealing money from my accounts with a forged power of attorney we found among the other.  After they had everything packed up to take to the station. My lawyer called to say they got the emails with the forged documents and when to meet me at the police station to help with pressing charges against her.  One of the detectives walked with me to the garage and I alerted her to the fact that my Chevy Silverado Extended cab pick-up truck was missing, which she called in to report it as stolen immediately.  They put a call into OnStar to have it tracked by its GPS, and it was found at the home of my aunt’s boy-toy.  At one point I moved wrong and cringed in pain, which caught the attention of one of the officers.  “What’s wrong, Miss David?” he asked.  I raised my shirt to show the bruises and explained what happened.  She decided to drive me to the hospital for x-rays.  I obeyed and the X-ray found that three of my ribs were fractured by the bat my “aunt” hit me with.  She snapped tons of photos to be entered into evidence as to the assault to use at her trial.  My lawyer was at the station when the detective drove me there from the hospital.  My aunt's boy toy was brought in cuffed along with my Chevy truck, which he was given by her even though it wasn't hers to give.  They booked it into evidence moving it into a garage for lab techs to do their thing.  The forensic team did a thorough search in it and found more forged documents along with a detailed list in his handwriting on what he was supposed to do to me.  They had begun question him after reading him his rights and these papers were brought in to the detectives during his interrogation.  My lawyer, Samuel, watched from behind the glass with a paralegal videoing the entire interrogation for the legal assistants or secretaries to transcribe for analysis later.  The lawyer’s intern, Edward, was taking notes and adding his thoughts on the ploys that another lawyer might use to try to get this boy off.  The biggest item is to prove somehow that my aunt hadn’t used her authority over him to force his cooperation in her evil little schemes and he was a willing participant.  Samuel left to go meet with the DA to make sure neither of them would be offered bail, then he called an associate at the firm to freeze the aunt’s bank accounts just in case the DA's office messed up.  The assistant DA took down all the information on the lawyer my aunt was going to use to try to force her cooperation with their office.  They filled charges against the notary that supposedly witnessed my signature on the fake will, hoping to get him to testify for immunity.  Several hours later after all the questions were answered, one of the officers gave me a ride home so I could get some rest.  Samuel had left an hour before to file a few injunctions and charges of corruption against the shady lawyer my aunt was using with the DA’s office and the Federal Bar Association.  He was determined to get her dis-barred so she couldn’t practice law again.  I was able to rest for a bit and let other memories of the other Becky flood my mind.  I cried for her since her parents had died several months ago bus and a month after our birthday.  They were vacationing in Greece using a moped bike when a taxi and rammed into them killing both instantly.  Her aunt wouldn’t let her find out how to bring the bodies home for a proper burial, but now I can instruct Samuel’s office to see if they can be brought home for her sake.  It made me cry over what my family must be going through with losing me.
