/004- The Scandalous Wedding/

**Victoria’s Point Of View** No one in this world can ever accuse me of not being dramatic. That’s exactly what I am. I am dramatic, theatric, and fabulous. I am my own girl. My own crazy over-the-top girl. I looked at the mirror in front of me as Amirah fixed my hair. My new assistant was working on making sure the guests were seated. And that no one messed up. Enzo is getting married in four months. I wasn’t there when Massimo announced that he would be getting married, but I did see the news about the ice queen and the man the city of Aurora worships. The world knows Aurora for what it is. Being the home to the rich, and the heavily ambitious. This major city in California is run by the elite, and I am proud to know I’m one of them. Most of the elites here come from far and wide, like the Buscami family. The richest in the world. It was numbing the amount of money Massimo had gathered at just the age of forty-eight. He was smart. Probably too smart. Anywho, he announced he would be getting married the next month after he and I had slept together. While people suspected I was the one he was marrying, the gist is.... they have no confirmation from Massimo or myself. My things are packed and moved into his estate, I haven’t even been to the place. And today, we lock ourselves together. We signed the contract last week to protect both our assets. Although I will admit, I was paying attention to what was on the contract. I was just eager. I still am. Eager to f**k Enzo up. Massimo and I haven’t spent a moment alone since that night. We’ve been.... busy. Preparing. It was a rushed wedding so there was a lot to do. Amirah smiled at me through the mirror. “All done. You look amazing, Miss Sinclair.” “Thank you.” As decided, I would be changing my name to Victoria S. Buscami. The S was not negotiable. My parents have only me to carry on their legacy. I could be addressed as Mrs Sinclair or Mrs Buscami. Either was fine. Massimo hadn’t complained. I shuddered, remembering the way he looked at me every time we were in the same room. We haven’t f****d since that night. We’ve been talking.. a lot. We talk way too much. Every morning, afternoon, and evening. I’ve never been in this situation where someone as busy as he is finds time to communicate hourly. But look at the bigger picture, I’m taking the most lusted-after man off the market and willing to use his influence to wreck Enzo and Eleanor. I must say, revenge pays off. “It’s time to go, ma’am,” Amirah announced, and I nodded. I shoved up to my feet, the white dress was full and it made me look like a princess. I never really thought about getting married. That was never in my plans. Nope. Not one bit. I was going to date Enzo, and keep running my business. No marriage in sight. But I look good. I like the way I look in this dress. Instead of a veil, I went with my mask. Because the paparazzi were here. They wanted the main scoop of Massimo getting married. For the fifth time. The first time, he wasn’t as popular. The second and third were low-key. Fourth, that was a big deal. And now, this... this is going to top that one. Because in one month we managed to plan something this big. I made my way down the long decorated halls and waited for the cue on the music. The doors were pulled apart, and flowers were thrown. I started walking, keeping my eyes on the altar where Massimo was waiting. I heard the sharp intakes of breath, and gasp. Someone shouted, “IT’S THE ICE QUEEN!” I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing, they were ridiculous. They hadn’t even seen the best part. The face reveal. I caught Enzo’s eyes as I walked. He looked at me with interest, having no clue of my identity. They know Victoria is rich though, so he doesn’t seem bothered just yet. Eleanor though? Her face looked like she had seen a ghost. Maybe that’s what I am to her. I’m here to haunt her. That’s only half of my plans. Remember I gave her money. I had her on a steady monthly pay so she wouldn’t have to suffer again. I froze her accounts because they were in my name. I’d like to see her explain how rich she is now with no proof. I was paying her rent too.... guess, who really needs that Buscami wealth now? Not me. And as Massimo pointed out, each Buscami had their partners sign a prenup. Only their children would benefit from both sides. I haven’t met the rest of the family until today. But my goodness, they were a sight to behold. Alessio Buscami is the first son, he married Natalie Malco. And yes, she’s an only child and an heiress. Matteo is the third son, and he married Dominic Stanton.... one of Massimo’s business partners. A prime elite here as well. And the product of Massimo’s last wife would be Giulia. She married Oliver Harrington, and you can take a guess by his name where he comes from. A fat load of wealth. The buscamis truly only mingled with their type. The men were dangerously handsome, and the women were stunning. Giulia smiled at me, which was odd- to me at least. I’m guessing she was trying to be polite. I finally stopped by Massimo. The girls were standing on my side, with the inclusion of my assistant Amirah. You might have noticed my lack of friends. When you’re busy, and literally termed the ‘ice queen’ people tend to avoid you. I come across as mean, and snobbish. For no reason to be honest. The men were on the left side where Massimo stood, he had this charming grin on his face. I clutched the flowers tight, he was something else. Such a good-looking man. I can still remember how we f****d like bunnies. All night. Fuck, stop thinking about it. We went through the process, the early vows- that we prepared for, and as the pastor announced that we may kiss. Massimo reached up and unclasped the buckled the mask. We both let it fall to the ground. Chaos ensued. People were screaming ‘look? Victoria’s true face’, camera flashes were going on and off. But that wasn’t even the best part. The best part was hearing the thump that resulted. Massimo and I looked to see that Enzo had fainted. He moved to check on his son, but I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him hard. Oh yeah, the papers will be talking about me for months. And Enzo, Enzo doesn’t know what’s coming for him. Massimo allowed me to distract him with the kiss. We clutched each other’s covered skin, and once our lungs had had enough, we released each other. The Buscami children applauded and got the crowd to join in even though they still had their jaws on the floor. My identity has been something people tried to uncover for years. Some said I was scarred, and hideous. As if a scar meant I couldn’t be the hottest girl in the room. Some said I was self-conscious and acting tough for show. They don’t know anything about acting. But I can show them. They tried to bully me, make up fake photos, and slander them as my real face. I never responded, but they were exposed shortly. To see a secret I hid carefully for years is shocking to them, and .... let’s face it. I’m stunning. Who wouldn’t gawk at me? As Antonietta, I was approached several times on the street and asked if I’d like to model. I turned them all down of course. “I may not pronounce you husband and wife.” I smiled, and Massimo did too. Enzo didn’t wake up until we were halfway into the reception. For close family and friends only. People were dancing, drinking eating. Giulia took a selfie with me. She tagged it on i********: with a caption saying; The ice queen and my dad, what a savage pairing. Fifth wife, and most definitely the last. It was a bit of an overkill for her to say ‘most definitely’ but I didn’t question it. We’d cut the cake, and Massimo slow danced with me. Sharing kisses in between had my stomach fluttering in weird ways. It was during the slow dance that I realized I was married. The rings, the vows, the contract, everything from earlier hadn’t clued me in until we were alone on the dance floor like a couple in love. It gave me a weird feeling. My gut was tight. But he managed to loosen that as we danced. Once we were done, there was a lot of cheering, and I was officially introduced to his family. They were super nice. It wasn’t as awkward as I had expected. I was getting a drink for myself while Massimo danced with Giulia who was tearing up that her father found happiness. The girl should be a paid actress. She’s got the buscami friends, and their relatives all in her back pocket with this move. I like her already. I can see a diva from a mile away. What was I saying? Oh right, Massimo dancing... yes, Enzo and Eleanor cornered me. “Hello hello, son,” I said as I spotted them. f*****g traitors. “don’t call me that. I thought you were... you lied to me.” “No, I didn’t. Tell him, Eleanor. Isn’t my middle name, Antoinetta?” Eleanor froze like a deer in headlights, this was always her problem. The girl didn’t know how to think and act fast. She shouldn’t have made an enemy out of him. “What the f**k do you think you’ll gain by this?” “I don’t know what you mean. I love your dad. He and I connected while you two were... should I say congratulations? It’s a shame I married before you.” “Don’t mess with me, An- Victoria.” enzo hissed silently. “I will tell my father-” “That what? That you and I dated but you f****d my best friend behind my back?” Enzo stared at me, then he glanced around making sure no one heard me. Thankfully, we were alone in this corner. “That’s right. It would just be awkward. Save yourself the stress, Enzo. I don’t care about you. I’m here because I love that man and his c**k. so... get over yourself.” I shoved them away from me and made my way to the rest of the family. Eleanor better warn him. I’m as petty as they come. While they stew on what I might be planning by being here, I’m going to enjoy my wedding.
