Jaiden pov I was starving when I finally came to the giant wall. It was harder than I thought, getting here. I had to move around the wolves, hoping they wouldn’t smell me, both grateful and annoyed that it rained again. It was harder to track in the rain, but it also made me soaked through, again. I finished my jerky and soda a while ago, probably faster than I should have, and now I was starving. I stared up at the wall, unsure what to do now. Do I just knock on it? “Hello!” I called out, lightly rapping my knuckles on the wall. “Who are you? What are you here for?” A voice called out. I looked up, taking a few steps back, and stared into the eyes of a man with a gun trained on me. Actually, there were a lot of guys with guns trained on me. I frowned, annoyed. Not very hospitable.
