Tala’s POV
Getting up slowly, I looked around my room and it almost looked like a warzone. There were washcloths and towels everywhere and I felt the bright red burn I knew all too well as it crept over my cheeks. My first heat must have had all of them running around like crazy and as I began to apologize, both my mom and Luna stopped me mid-sentence saying there was nothing to apologize for. A little while later, the doctor came around just to make sure I hadn’t dehydrated too much and he decided to give me a drip just in case. Smiling at me before he left, he told me that I should be okay for at least a day or two, but in his experience, he found that when young girls met a higher-ranked wolf as their mate their heat was worse.
