Alicia’s POV
I cried the moment we shifted and Caspian took me into his arms in our room. I held it together the entire time we were busy getting everything cleaned up, but it felt as if that was all we were doing every day. Cleaning up blood and dead rogues. Rogues that were innocent humans not so long ago! We had to find whoever was doing this! We had to stop the cruelty of it! Caspian pulled me into his lap and held onto me until I stopped crying. When I calmed down a little, he took me to the shower so we could get cleaned up but it felt as if I could no longer wash the dirt and grime from my body. No matter how hard I washed, I couldn’t get rid of the scent of rogue blood. I felt Caspian’s hands slip over mine and realized that my skin was scrubbed raw and tears started to flow again
