Alicia’s POV I had never been this scared and angry at the same time in my entire life! When we heard the familiar clicking of nails on the wooden floor, it was clear that the rogues had in fact entered our territory and our pack house, as Caspian predicted. “Sweetheart! They’ve broken through our defences, but I’m on my way back! Just hold on and protect our son!” Caspian linked and my heart started to race. From the way the warriors were moving, it was clear that they had also been informed and they took up fighting stances in front of the door. I didn’t hear them growl, I felt the floor vibrate and I wished for a moment that I could just close my eyes and all this would be over.
