Alicia’s POV
I woke up in my old room from when I was a young girl and felt confused. Blinking my eyes to see if anything would change, but it didn’t. Then I caught a familiar scent.
“Mom?” My eyes snapped around the room, but she wasn’t there. I jumped out of bed and rushed next door to their room and there she was. Sitting in front of her mirror, combing her beautiful long dark hair as she always did. I breathed in her scent. This wasn’t possible! I ran up to her and swung my arms around her shoulders, thinking as soon as I did, she would just disappear, but she was there. I was actually physically touching her!
“Oh, darling!” Tears sprang to her eyes as her hands covered mine. “I’ve missed you so much.” She turned around in my embrace and I just gawked at her!
