Chapter Sixteen
Every hour or so, the naked Doodie dismounts and prances back to Max. Luda remains in the saddle and Steel keeps the leisurely pace as Doodie opens a canteen of water. Max must drink while continuing to toil. Luda will only stop for darkness, determined to maximize the daily progress. Thus Max must learn to relieve himself while walking, a feat not before attempted. It is especially difficult as the anal insertion keeps his manhood quite firm and of course with every watering Doodie must toy.
But Max realizes it is for the best. There is less exertion in maintaining the momentum of the travois than in stopping and then recommencing movement, and certainly less pain. Therefore Luda and Max are in accordance. The pace must continue.
