Debora wanted to cry all over again because of how sore she felt. Every muscle in her body screamed at her for sleeping in an awkward position. Eyes still closed, she groaned and stretched. Her arm instinctively reached to the other side, expecting Felix to be sleeping next to her. Her eyes opened when she felt empty air instead of her mate. His side of bed was cold. Did he sleep at all? Debora's dizzy eyes focused on the window in her room. The stars were still shining, it was still night. Her room was pitch dark, she felt paranoid. Suddenly a flicker or light burnt before her, she flinched. A small candle lit by the table, then another. Soon the room was filled with candle lights. Colourful candles spread all around, a wonderful Lavender scent waft across the room. Debora smile
