The Alpha's Hunter
Chapter 1 History
Hunters and the supernatural have not always been on friendly terms. There have been many wars between them for centuries. But the more the supernatural kept to themselves, the less need for hunters to come through. Until groups of rogues start to attack. then the hunters weren't needed to hunt down and kill supernaturals to protect humans, they were needed to protect the supernaturals from their worst enemies. The rogue versions of themselves or or other supernaturals.
Just like any supernaturals, the Hunters have their own way and rules. The biggest rule is to never be involved personally involved with a supernatural unless it turns out you're their mate, but of course, there are those who break this rule.
Though, it is always better to take a side, but during hard times or worrying times. It never hurts to be close to a few people. Especially leaders of the supernatural packs. Be them werewolf, fairy, pixie, dragon kin, wyvern kin, vampire, witches, phoenix, or something else.
Now as times are in peace, expect for when rogues are attacking. Hunters either stay in their city, town or territory. Training for when they are needed next.
The strongest and largest groups of the Hunters are the main four families. The Stormes of the East, the Paynes of the North, the Gatesons of the South and the Banerjeeas of the West. The four are rivals yet the closest of friends. Though they do their best to not interfere with each and always stay allined, there are of course times when they are almost at war with each other.
Though, if anyone asked. The Hunters of all areas, will tell you that Stormes are the strongest of the four big groups. The other big three included.
Many supernaturals will ask the Hunter Group in their area for help, though there are times when the supernaturals believe they need other's help. But for now, the east will ask for their hunter family, the west will ask for their hunter famiky help and so now and so now. Though, the supernaturals on the territory boaders may change their alliances depending who is in charge. And who knows if someone will one day dispute that peace.

Moon Howlers Pack, East Territory
"When do they get here?" the Alpha in charge asked. He was not a nervous man normally but he had alpha's from the packs in the East Territory visiting. They were talking about the possibility of making one east pack under the rule of one alpha with other alphas as a war council. Who would lead is in debt still. That was why they were for the Hunters from the Stormes to arrive. It may not, maybe some of the smaller packs will merge with larger ones or just become allies. But once again, they needed the Storme Repestivives to approve it. Or they would be risking war with the Hunters. Of course this was a meeting for only werewolves and their pack alphas plus the small group of Storme Reps.
"Soon sir," his Beta replied. "When I had last contact with them, the reps were in Doom Lakes Pack territory."
"Which was?"
"Two days ago Alpha. They should be arriving any time now."
"They're here father. I felt them enter our pack territory just now," the alpha's son informed him.
"Let the others know our guests of honour have arrived," the alpha told them all. "We will have a meeting either first thing today or first thing tomorrow. Depending on what the Storme Reps want to do."
"Yes sir," beta and the alpha's son both nodded then left. The alpha himself got up and went and got his wife so they could greet their most important guests.
After all, the Stormes will either make them or break them with their decisions.
"After the Stormes, my biggest problem is the Black Crescents Pack and their Alpha Mason," the alpha said to himself. His wife not hearing anything as she is dearf. The Black Crescents Pack were the biggest in the whole East Territory and they had a young Alpha in charge of them. Alpha Mason Zayn, one of the strongest alphas to ever exist, despite his young age. That was young man was the main one thing between him and his plan, but hopefully he will be a good pup and not be against the idea, again.

"Mace?" a beta said to his black haired alpha.
"Yes?" the other replied, seeming lost in his own thoughts.
"The pack is worried…" he told the other. "You haven't found your mate yet and…"
"I know. I was out of control," the young man sighed as he just stared out the window. "And unmated alpha is dangerous. I either have to find my true mate or take a chosen mate."
"So we're on the same page then?" his beta smiled happily. Happy he didn't have to have a fight over this matter with his best friend again.
"We are, if I do not find my mate by my birthday, my 25th birthday next month. I will allow Elder Tyler to choose a suitable mate for me with you and your father's help, Damien," Mason smiled at his best friend and beta, Damien Light.
"My sister would be a good mate, or maybe her brother," Damien said with a knowing grin.
It was one of the few things the two had in common, they were both boy lovers.
"Or I could pick you and make Marco my beta~" Mason teased the other.
They both laughed it off in their shared room. Mason and Damien both knew they would never work out, they tried it when they were younger. They were best friends, not lovers. They both wanted to be the top one. Marco was Damien's younger brother who was more of a healer than a fighter, so the kid being Beta wouldn't really work out.
"Only if we wanted Marc to kill us," Damien laughed. Using his nickname for his little brother. Marco hated being called Marc, which was why Damien always did it. Like how Marco always called Damien, Dame.
"True, we wouldn't want to piss off our pack healer in training," Mason chuckled. Reading over the meeting notes. He would see this meeting was going to a s**t show again. He wasn't the only one against the idea the whole East Pack with an Alpha King idea. "This meeting is pointless. None of the alphas want to join together to make one pack. They will all nonimate themselves to the pack King. Or rather Alpha King of the East."
"Though the war council is a cool idea, it wouldn't work, I agree," Damien hummed in agreeent. "The betas and gammas will fight over who gets to the head of those and who will be besides the King, and the losers would be elites. Like what happened with Alpha Sylivian and his pack when they joined ours and we kicked their asses."
"They are elites unless they do something stupid," Mason sighed out. He remembered that fight. Sylivian was a fool to challenge him and underestimate Mason for being young. Thinking it would be easy. Now the former alpha of the Justice Pack was a mere elite with his beta. Their gamma was smart and didn't fight a battle she knew she would lose. Though, she would still be gamma in Mason's pack as she turned out to be his gamma's true mate. So the black haired male didn't mind giving her the position.
"Is it funny that they asked the Stormes to come?"
"I don't think it is. It shows how serious the Moon Howlers and Alpha Justin are about this merge into one big East Pack under the rule of a Alpha King." Mason didn't like Hunters but he knew they were important, especially to any and all packs survivals. He was going to see if he could request an audience with one of them to make a treaty between his pack and their group. With the Stormes, he didn't want to piss them off and go to another hunter family. There were not many official treaties between the Stormes Hunters and the packs. Just the unwritten rule of being nice to each other since they all live in the east.
Mason has his reasons for not liking the hunters. But all he wants in life is to keep his pack safe and to one day find his Luna, his true mate, not a chosen one. So he wasn't going to let his dislike for the Hunters in danger that.
"Really?" Damien asked as he sniffed the air and could feel a change. "They're here…" He almost whimpered. The Storme Hunters were the one thing that every supernatural in the East Territory feared. After all, they were humans but the main family and branch were not all.
"I can sense them…" Mason nodded as he noticed them from his seat at the window. Staring out at the cloaked figures. A strong smell hit him suddenly. It was of raspberries and dark chocolate. His eyes stared down at the small group of Storme Hunters, there was only five of them but they were feared all the same.
Mason felt his heart race then drop at the same time as he eyed the smallest looking figure. His wolf was going insane.
'Mate!' his wolf screamed happily in his head.
"Mate…" Mason said as his eyes were staring intently at the smallest looking hunter.
"What? Where?" Damien asked excitedly, hearing the other say that word. He never thought he would ever hear Mason say it. "You can sense your mate?! Who is he?! Which wolf from which pack?!"
"He isn't a wolf and isn't from one of the packs," Mason told his best friend who looked confused. The sudden realization hit them both at the same time after several minutes as the hunters disappeared from their sight. The fear hit them both as well. Mason trying to work out if it was a good thing or a bad thing.
"It's one of the Stormes!" They said at the same time.
Oh goddess! What has the Moon Goddess done?
