Eden's POV
I took a deep breath and lowered my gaze, contemplating if it was the right thing to tell him. I didn't know if I could trust him yet; most importantly, I was afraid.
''Afraid that he wouldn't want to stay if he knew the real me.''
'' Cat, please look at me,'' He whispered, but I couldn't bring myself to look at him, so I just pulled away from him, wore my dress and looked back at the view.
'' Talk to me please,'' He whispered, making my heart thump even louder in my chest.
'' You will not understand, Ryan, trust me, you will not,'' I whispered back as I looked up at the moon, begging the goddess to give me strength.
'' You have been saying that but why don't you give me the benefit of the doubt? I might surprise you.'' He said as I felt him close to me again.
