Cat's POV
Lying that I had to go see my son because I couldn't stand the tension between Logan and me any longer, and I couldn't understand why I felt the way I did when he said those words to me, I hurriedly ran out of the guest's room.
Getting into my room, I tried to level my breathing, as I reminisced all that Logan had said and it got my heart beating so fast yet again.
My heart felt like it was not my own and my body craved his touch again, even though I didn't want it to.
'' This is bad,'' I screamed to myself.
'' I will not say that I told you so, but yes, I told you so. I knew this was going to happen. You are slowly falling for the son of your enemy,'' Magna taunted me with her words.
