Cat's POV
It was almost the time I had set out to leave this pack, and I was nervous as hell because I didn't know what the outside world had in store for me. But all I knew was that I had to do it. I had to leave before my uncle destroys my life. I couldn't let him marry me off to someone I do not know all because he just could.
I want to be able to choose a mate for myself, under the mating moon and not because my uncle wants to get rid of me.
So I started the arrangement for me and my brother to leave, getting as much food and supplies as I could for the trip and also keeping my head down and not getting into trouble so that my uncle wouldn't suspect a thing.
