Chapter 2 - Lilith

3232 Words
For the last few months, I’ve suggested that me and a few kids go out into the town to look for any hurt or sick kittens or puppies when it was still during the wintertime because I had gone out for a run when it was a full moon and had found four kittens quietly meowing in the cold, they all looked frozen, but I still heard them. I didn’t see or smell their mother around, so I carefully started licking them, warming them up when they were warm enough, I changed back into a human. I picked each of them up and placed them under my thermal shirt and started looking for something to carry them in. I had walked about five minutes in the snow when I found a small basket and without a second thought, I took off my thermal with the kittens carefully wrapped up inside and placed them in the basket as I kneeled there in just my bra – barely feeling the cold. Once I was sure they were secure, I changed back into Sister Wolf and quickly, but carefully, carried them back home. Surprising people as I quickly walked through the front door and lobby in just my bra and a basket in my hand – Charles not happy that many of the males saw me in my bra. But since then many thought it was a good idea for the kids to learn and help animals. And so, I’m sniffing around the ground for any animals, my ears twitching a bit at any little sound I hear. The three kids happily talking behind me, two boys – Mike and John – and a little girl – Jenny – who is about seven, Jenny holding onto my leash since she’s the youngest. We’ve been walking around the town for the last two hours, bumping into the others as they’ve either found kittens or a puppy. The two kittens we found were meowing and moving in the backpack that’s around my body, getting restless and sounding hungry. I lifted my head up and started walking again, the kids following me. We walked for a bit before I started walking us back towards our meet-up area as it’s about time to go back home.             We were at a crosswalk, just started walking across the street when I hear a car that sounds like it’s speedy. I turned my head to see a black slick looking car speeding down the street and not slowing down! I released the closes sound I can make to a bark before quickly turning around and grabbed Mike by the bottom of his shirt and started pulling, nearly tripping him as I released a growl. They turned their heads to see the car coming and quickly took the three steps that were needed to get out of the away, but then Jenny tripped. I quickly grabbed her by the hood of her sweater and barely managed to drag her out the way of the car! And that asshole of a driver had the balls to honk at us when the light is clearly red! I released a loud angry snarl towards the speeding car. Chase! Sister Wolf snarled. No! We need to check on Jenny. Sister Wolf growled before we turned around to see that Jenny is okay, the boys doing the same. I sniffed around her, checking to make sure she was okay. When I was sure she was fine, I let out a grunt from my throat, catching their attention, and started moving towards the other end of the sidewalk. The boys helped Jenny up and walked her across the rest of the street. “Lilith!” I turned my head just as three of the volunteered adults with their group of kids came running towards us. “Are you okay sweetie?” Violet, my regular volunteer, and part of security, asked Jenny. Jenny nodded her head. Violet looked at me. “Are you okay?” I gave out a low growl, my lips twitching and slightly pulling back over my fangs. “That’s understandable.” She said.             I walked towards Jenny and licked her face, then looked towards Violet and gave her a grunt – my way of saying; ‘I’m going home.’ “We’ll see you at home. Be safe.” I grabbed the ends of my leash in my mouth and started running back home. Find car. Destroy tires. Sister Wolf snarled. I know you want to do more than that. I thought back and Sister Wolf snarled back angrily.             From the House to Town is about four to five miles, so every time we come into town we prefer to run, it’s the same as we go back home because we once went in the van to town, and Sister Wolf got restless, going as far as to whining that I was even surprised that she made us make the sound. We finally made it up the hill, not even using the road as we always run through the trees, toddling towards the front lawn, when we saw a car parked in front of the staircase. The same car that almost ran over Jenny!             Me and Sister Wolf snarled as we got closer to the car, walking around it, sniffing it then we sneezed, shaking our head at the strong smell. Who wears so much nasty perfume! I thought smelling… I don’t know what, but something close to like a flower. Probably something like those perfumes that looks nice but smells horrible. Destroy tires. Sister Wolf said before we sneezed again, walking away from the drivers’ side of the door. I rather we get away from this smell. I said and made our way to the door, luckily someone just-opened door, so I didn’t have change to open it. “Sister Wolf.” They greeted, nodding their head as I walked by.             I walked through the door only to sneeze again from the damn person’s perfume as it seems to fill up the whole lobby – which it probably isn’t, much. My sense of smell is much more heightened as a wolf, so this is very annoying. I literally stopped to run my paw over my nose a couple of times, sneezing again, and shook my head. Annoying. Leave room. Sister Wolf growled, our nose tingling as we sneezed again. We’ll give kittens to Sandra at the front desk and go upstairs. I walked to the front desk, the person's perfume getting stronger as she stood in front of me. “It’s no big deal. I’ll just wait for him in his bedroom then.” She said. “I’m sorry, but no one is allowed in his room.” Sandra said. “Then let me wait in his office.” “Master Charles is very busy at this moment.” Sandra stood up from her chair and gestured towards the chairs and bench on her left side. “Just wait for him, here, in the lobby.” She looked down at me. “Oh, welcome home Sister Wolf.” The girl in front of me turned and screamed as she jumped onto the desk. My ears flattened back against my head as her scream made my ears ring a little but it didn’t stop the ‘smile’ that spread across my face and my tail wagging happily, the smell of her fear in my nose. Scare more. Sister Wolf happily said. Teach lesson. My tail wagged faster as I happily thought about it too. “Miss Gena, please get off my desk.” Sandra said as she walked around the desk towards me, kneeling next to me, unclipping my leash then the bag. “What do we have this time.” She asked carefully holding the bag. The kittens meowing. “Ooh, more kittens.” She squealed taking the kittens out of the bag, one kitten an orange tabby and the other a calico.             I shook myself before looking up at this Gena that still hasn’t gotten off the desk. She looked about twenty-one with black hair and blue eyes. She was wearing blue skinny jeans, a white crop top with a gray sweater that barely covers the crop top and barely looks warm enough in this fifty-degree night weather. Gena noticed I was staring at her and as she stared into my eyes, I pulled my lips back but didn’t make a sound, her body froze in fear. More. Scare more! Sister Wolf growled happily. “Sister Wolf, please.” Sandra said. “Don’t scare her, she didn’t do anything to you.” Wrong! Sister wolf snarled, scaring Sandra as she fell on her butt, holding the kittens against her. Gena shrieked and lost her balance on the desk, falling over.             While Gena was still dazed on the floor on the other side of the desk, I shifted back, taking the collar off and stuffing it in my pocket as I walked around the desk, staring down at her then I noticed her purse. I grabbed her purse and grabbed the car keys, putting them in my pocket. “Hey, what do you think you’re doing?” Gena said, getting up. I ignored her and looked at Sandra standing on the other side of the desk, she immediately looked down, away from my eyes. “What business does she have here.” I demanded, keeping Sister Wolf out of my voice. “I’m here to see Charles.” Gena said, standing in front of me – trying to intimidate me with her five-foot-seven height. “Why?” I asked as my face scrunched a bit, pulling my sleeves up to my forearms. Sister Wolf growling in my head because Gena personally called him by his name, not ‘Master’ Charles. “I don’t need to explain my reason to you. It’s none of your business.” I heard Sandra gasp and I couldn’t help the smile that spread across my face, my angry smile showing all my sharp canines and incisors. “When it comes to him, it is my business.” I said, her eyes on my fangs. “Now, tell me why you're here to see him or I can have you wait here all night into the morning.” “You can’t do that! I demand to speak to your supervisor or your superior or whoever is in charge of you!” I laughed a little. “Sorry, he’s currently busy.” A thought just came to me and Sister Wolf growled happily as I smiled. “You know what, fine.” I looked at Sandra. “Send her up after you take the kittens to Dr. Rosa.” Sandra stared at me surprised and confused. “To his office?” She asked as I made my way to the stairs. “No, to the other office.” I said, making my way up the stairs. “Oh, alright. I’ll do that.” “Thanks, Sandra.” I said behind me.             I walked up the stairs, all the way to the fifth floor, and walked to the middle door in front of the staircase. I knocked on the door briefly before opening it, walking into Charles’s office. Charles looked up at me from a piece of paper he was reading and smiled, placing the paper down on the desk. Charles is wearing a black collar shirt that’s hugging his broad shoulders. “I’m sorry ma’am, but you’re not allowed in my office.” He said, leaning back in his chair. I smiled, walking towards the desk. “Oh really? And why is that sir?” “Because my wife,” I placed my hand on the corner of his desk, sliding my hand on the edge as I walked to him behind his desk to see he’s also wearing black pants to match the shirt. “will kill any woman she sees in here with me.” “Oh, well, my husband would kill any man he sees in my office too.” I said placing my hands on the chairs’ armrest, bringing my face to his. “Your husband sounds like a very jealous man.” He said as I lowered my head to his neck, lightly brushing my nose against his skin. “Mmm and your wife sounds like a very jealous woman too.” “No, she’s just protective of what’s hers.” I lifted my head enough up to look into his hooded dark brown eyes. “You’re damn right and so are you.” I said, pressing my lips against his.             Charles placed his hands on my hips, pulling me down onto his lap, and deepened the kiss. I slide my left hand into his hair, holding his face against mine before lightly pulling on his hair. He groaned as he kissed his way down to my neck, kissing and nipping with his fangs before sucking on my skin then finally sank his fangs. I let out a light moan against his ear, I can feel Charles poking me before Charles suddenly pulled his fangs out of my neck and lifted me up onto his desk, standing up.             I grabbed Charles’s shirt, pulling him towards me as I wrapped my arm around his neck, pulling his head down, and pressed my lips against his as he stood in between my legs, feeling him press against me. The smell of him aroused in my nose. I groaned as I pressed myself against him, he growled as he placed his hands on my waist and held me firmly against him, rubbing himself against me. I moaned against his lips as I grabbed the belt of his pants and pulled him harder against me as I passionately, aggressively started kissing him, leaning back on his desk, knowing he’ll follow and would never want to let go of my lips. He started rubbing himself harder against me, the desk moving, scraping the stone floor as he kissed his way down to my neck and just bit me, I moaned, the sound echoing throughout his office. I can feel his hot hand sliding under my shirt, his skin setting mine on fire as he slid his hand up higher to – “I demand that –” I instantly released a snarled at the sound of a woman’s voice.             She shrieked followed by the sound of the door slamming shut. Charles growled, pulling his fangs out of my neck and lifted himself up, he started chuckling. “That’s not funny.” I said, my voice rough as I was slightly breathless. She ruined the moment, a very feel-good moment! “Of course not.” He said looking down at me, his eyes dark and spotting red. I was still laying flat on my back on his desk, my shirt halfway up my stomach and I know my eyes were an amber-red – especially since that Gena woman just walked in without knocking and into the wrong room! Charles leaned back over me and pressed his lips against mine, giving me a gentle kiss, tasting my blood on his tongue. I felt his warm hand lightly rubbing my side, his touch soft and a bit tickles then he slid his arm around my waist and pulled me up, sitting me up on his desk. “Don’t kill her.” He said. “I can’t promise anything.” I said, fixing my shirt but didn’t bother wiping the blood that’s sliding down my neck to the front of my shirt. “Just try.” Charles leaned down and licked my neck, licking my blood. I looked at him when he pulled away, lifting one of my eyebrows up. “As if you would, if a guy came in here and interrupted us.” “You’re right, but you’re supposed to be better than me.” He gave me a peck on my lips and I rolled my eyes. “Whatever.” I stood up and Charles pressed his lips against mine. “I’ll see you later.” He mumbled against my lips. “Alright. Here, hold onto this for me.” I reached into my pocket and took out the collar, placing it on his desk. “Will do.” He said as I turned around and barely took two steps before he slapped my ass. My face heated as I gave him a glare, walking backward. “Stop slapping my ass.” “I know you like it.” He gave me a wink. “No, I don’t.” I said, turning around, letting myself smile. Okay, maybe a little. I thought.             I wiped the smile off my face as I reached the door handle and opened the door, to see Gena standing a few feet away. I felt my face scrunch up as I closed the door behind me. “You know, you went into the wrong room.” I said, walking towards her. “I know ‘cause I had Sandra send you to that room.” I pointed to my office doors, which is to the right of Charles’s. “And you didn’t even knock. Who doesn’t knock on a damn door?” I was standing in front of her, looking into her eyes. But her eyes were looking down at my neck and I can hear her lightly sniffing, smelling Charles all over me. “Sorry, but she told me the first door on the right.” She didn’t sound sorry. In fact, she sounds like she doesn’t care. Which is pissing me off a little. I stared at her before pointing my finger at my office, still staring at her. “First door on the right.” I said, my voice slightly rough. “It’s on the right and is the first door.” I need to calm down before I decided to push her down the stairs.             I turned around and walked into my office, holding the door open, waiting for Gena who is now staring at Charles’s door. “Get in.” Sister Wolf growled, using my voice to get Gena’s attention. Gena’s head snapped towards us, a slight look of terror in her eyes as she seemed to look for the owner of the voice at the doorway but all she saw was me. I jerk my head to the side, motioning for her to get inside. She looked hesitant before making a brave face and walked right in. I pushed the door close, a bit too hard as it slammed shut.
