Sedatives

Seeing Aurora attack him even as he let out so much of his aura out made Anderson feel choked up. Even going as far as to speak to her with his wolf did nothing. His baby girl wasn't aware of what was happening right now. Some may think she was more of a threat to others, but Anderson knew she was more of a threat to herself. There was no rational side to her right now, her wolf knew of no reason. It was pure emotion, just rage, and pain. She disregards any pain and wounds physically because of this. To Aurora and Ren, in this most primal state, the pack they loved was protecting the one she wanted to kill, and as a powerful alpha she-wolf whose mate was next in line to become alpha, as Alaric was the only son of the alpha in the lunar pack. They were siding with a traitor and attacking their luna. But Anderson knew if the pack warriors knew the reason why everything was going down, they would allow Aurora and Ren to do as they pleased. Seeing her aggressive attack getting closer to him, Anderson shifted into his black wolf. He jumped out of the way doing a one-eighty, and pounced onto Ren's back, firmly grabbing ahold of her nape before using his weight to pin her under his belly. The warriors stood and watched in amazement. Anderson did what they struggled to do in a few shift movements. 'What are you idiots standing around for? Sedate her!' Anderson snarled at the warriors in the pack link. The head of the south pack warriors almost slapped himself silly. The urgency and chaos of the situation made them forget that they could have just done that in the beginning. A rookie mistake, but it wasn't every day the entire pack was thrown into chaos. This involved the golden boys and two females, nothing about this situation was simple. As the closest group to the school, they were immediately called in as they heard Renee's panicked mind link. The head warrior quickly ordered the sedatives. The first aid response warrior wolves quickly came forward. Pack warriors were split into different divisions, all serving under the rule of the alpha and beta. Each division had specialties. The medical division were trained warriors who knew first aid. They would usually carry a pouch around their necks filled with supplies one would need in a medical emergency, but most importantly, they would carry sedatives. These sedatives derived from wolfsbane and wolf berry among some other ingredients were intended with one single purpose, to sedate a wolf. Whether it be a rampaging pack member, an out-of-control newly shifted young wolf, or just plain old rogue wolf, the sedative was a lifeline to keep order within the pack and outside its borders. The head pack warrior quickly ordered the few pack warriors fighting Jace off to sedate him before making his way toward Anderson and Ren in his human form. Using a tranquilizer gun, the head pack warrior pulled the trigger and shot two darts into Aurora's side. It didn't even do anything but make her mad. She struggled more fiercely, trying to buck Anderson off. Anderson could only tighten his grip on her nape until his teeth sunk into her skin, drawing blood. Tasting her blood on his tongue, Anderson was at a complete loss. 'More shoot her more, they would go down like this!' Anderson hurriedly ordered, to which the head warrior did as instructed. Aiden watched as his father held down his sister and the head warrior shot her with sedatives. He turned his attention to Jace. The warriors over there were having a hard time shooting him without shooting one of their own. Aiden's eye left the situation over there and stopped at Alaric, who was receiving first aid a few feet away from him. Shifting out of his black wolf, Aiden made his way toward Alaric. Pushing aside the warriors in his way, Aiden pulled his fist back and socked Alaric right in his eye. The turn of events was quite shocking, and again the warrior dreaded that they would need to sedate another wolf. Alaric was paying attention to Aiden from the moment he didn't run toward Aurora with Anderson. He had an inkling that Aiden would come for him. He was right, so he didn't move or alert the warriors, instead, he welcomed the beating. "I'll f*****g kill you!" with each word Aiden said, Alaric received a punch. The warriors scrambled into action and began to separate the two immediately. 'Vince, we might have another problem on our hands!' A pack warrior separating the one-sided beating Alaric was receiving quickly mind-linked to his leader. The head warrior, Vince, looked back and saw the commotion, and cursed under his breath. 'Prepare to sedate him.' Vince ordered the pack warrior. 'Yes, sir!' The warrior responded and motioned toward the other warriors. They immediately moved to grab the sedatives. It was at this time Cherise and Renee burst through the tree lines. The two quickly spotted the mess. Jace was still fighting off the warriors, though his moments had slowed down and even gotten sluggish, while Anderson was pinning Aurora's wolf to the pitch, and Aiden was trying to beat the hell out of Alaric. Without saying a word to each other, the two she-wolves dashed toward their mates. Cherise reached the pack warriors, who in turn barred her from getting closer. They worried that she was another one, but as the young woman shifted and shouted, "He's my mate." The warriors quickly let her pass. Aiden was squashed between pack warriors who were trying to pull him away from Alaric. "Aiden, stop! Aurora needs you." Cherise weaved through the warriors and reach her mate and placed a hand on his shoulder. Her touch, along with those words, made Aiden deflate like a balloon. All the aggressiveness towards Alaric paused, and he turned and looked toward Aurora. He could see his father struggling to hold Aurora in place, while his mother could only stand there in human form with her hands over her mouth. "What am I doing? They need me!" Aiden grabbed Cherise's hand and sent an apologetic look at the warriors, who stepped out of the way for the duo to leave. The two break out in a sprint and reach Renee in no time. Aiden let go of his mate's hand and moved to hug his sobbing mother. Cherise also joined the hug as she watched Ren's struggles become weaker and weaker. Jason and Kent finally made it to the parking lot. Jason quickly scanned the mess and found his son. As he was going to dash toward Jace, Jace fell over and convulsed. Jason froze in shock, he barely heard anything as he and his wolf Trek moved forward toward Jace. The emotions felt suffocating as he watched the warriors rush to pin his son down. "Grrrrrrrrrr," Jason stalked towards the warriors and growled at them filled with aggression. Seeing the beta had arrived, the warriors quickly let go of Jace and backed away, baring their necks in a slight submission to one of the leaders of the pack. 'Jason, calm down!' Kent quickly ordered Jason, using his authority as his alpha and superior to curb the bloodlust swirling in Jason. This wasn't the pack warrior's fault, he didn't need his beta trying to attack the pack warriors next. Jason paused and took a deep breath to suppress his wolf before shifting to human form and walking toward his still-convulsing son. Dropping to his knees when he fully took in the state his son was in. Kent, who was still in wolf form behind, looked at the young wolf in the state he was in and felt pain radiating throughout his body. Kent knew if Jace was to fight off the warriors any longer, he would have been a corpse. He shifted to human form as Jason shakily touched Jace's matted fur. 'Crack' Jace slowly began to shift into human form, that was the downside of using the sedatives. They would force any werewolf in wolf form into human form. They could do anything as Jace slowly morphed from wolf to human. The extent of his injuries was far worse in human form yet somehow Jace was still awake. "Daa... Dad," Jace choke, blood rolling down from the corner of his lips. "K...ki...kill hi...him." Jason pulled his son in his arms as he struggled to say those words. Tears threatened to blur Jason's vision as he checked over his son. "I'll fix this, son," Jason reassured Jace. The boy was too tired to even say anything more and fainted in his father's arms. That's when a scream tore through the parking lot.
