She took a swallow of wine and felt Luke shift beside her. His thigh was against hers. She’d tucked her other foot under her knee and sat at a slight angle facing him. “How long are you staying?” he asked.
“Probably not much longer. No matter how much I fight against it, I’m a morning person. Even if I stay up late, I’m up early whether I want to be or not. How about you?”
