Wave after wave of agony is coursing through my body. I never knew that I could feel so much pain.
I keep seeing Blakely in my head. Her stunning naked body standing by the water, her arms outstretched, turning toward me…rejecting me.
I let out a howl and keep running. I don’t want to stop. I’m afraid if I stop the pain will overtake me…but I have to. I have to get back to the packhouse. I have to talk to Alpha Brad. I just attacked a member of their pack and injured him pretty badly. I need to explain.
