"Drive safe." I said from the elevator. "Get right home."
"Youre not leaving?" Valerie asked.
"I am, I just forgot something."
"Okay, be safe." She said, running out to her car.
I watched as she got into her car and drove off. Dean begged me to follow her home, but I ignored him and the pull of the mate bond. We can't have her. Plus, I really did need to grab a few things. I also needed to move my calls around, normally Valerie would be responsible for that, but I didn't want her here when there was a storm coming. I realized that I put a block up on my linking yesterday, so I never got the link from Trish about the storm. A good thing too, because Valerie showed up.
