"Hey Carter, come on in." I said, stepping aside so he could enter.
"Thanks, these are for you," he said. He handed me a beautiful rose bouquet and proceeded to walk inside, studying my house.
"They are beautiful, thank you." I said, stopping to literally smell the roses.
"I was thinking we could check out this Italian place in the city tonight, if you are up to it?" He asked.
"Um sure. I love Italian." I smiled over my shoulder while heading into the kitchen to grab a vase for the flowers.
"I know." He winked, and I blushed.
It was a nice change of pace, being openly hit on and not hidden away like some mistake. Maybe tonight won't be so bad after all. I quickly put the flowers into a vase and grabbed my purse.
"Hey, who is this?" Carter asked while Copper rubbed up
