Ellie's POV
"Why?" Jaden demands. "No. I love romantic stories. Let her talk."
"I need her to stop talking because she's going to the restroom with me, okay? Have fun, Jay."
Anna holds my hand and we walk towards the restroom.
Anna splashes water onto my face and then she slaps me on both sides of my cheeks, and she sounds urgent.
"I'm gonna need you to stop yourself from saying anything in front of Jay, okay? I have a feeling that he doesn't like the guy you've fallen in love with."
My head's spinning. Not like the effect of an o****m, but vertigo spinning. I almost cannot stand up on my feet and I have to hold the sink for support so I don't fall on the slimy floor.
