Chapter 11 Liam paced impatiently back and forth across the dining room. Why did this woman always keep him waiting? That begged the larger question, why was he waiting for her at all? He tried to reason to himself that he wanted to see his daughter, and get the update on her condition. It wasn’t that he had any particular interest in the wet-nurse. However, when she finally entered the hall, his eyes went over her carefully. She wore a blue frock today, which was much more becoming than the ugly brown thing she had worn yesterday.
