Chapter 11The first thing Tarin became aware of was a warm, spicy scent that seemed to call to him enticingly. He moved closer, inhaling deeply, and murmured wordlessly as he tried to open his eyes. “Take things slowly, my love. You’ll be weak until you’ve fed fully. Let me help for now.” Recognising Boyce’s voice, Tarin relaxed. Then a coppery scent reached him and hunger consumed him. Instinct took over and he sucked greedily at Boyce’s wrist. “Gently, Tarin. Not too much, you’re still newly turned.” Despite the warning, Tarin didn’t slow down. So hungry. Need Boyce so much. When Boyce pulled his wrist away, Tarin growled and resisted, only to find his himself pinned securely, his wrists held down to either side of his head and Boyce’s weight on top of him.
