Chapter 6An hour later, Tarin sat in a large armchair in Boyce’s lounge room and looked around at the gathered men and women as he waited for Boyce to explain as he’d promised. A couple he already knew; Flynn sat in another chair, Eric in his arms. To Tarin’s relief the burn on Eric’s cheek, although still dark red, was improving, thanks to the healing properties of Flynn’s saliva. Farther back in the room, Martha sat in a wooden chair. An older man sat on her right; Tarin assumed he was her husband. On her left sat a young man with sandy hair, and an attractive brunette. Boyce paced in front of the fireside, which was flanked by a darkly attractive man and a beautiful red-headed woman. Tarin was certain they were vampires like Flynn and Eric, they had an air to them he couldn’t quite exp
