the other one

In order to avoid exposing herself in an argument with him, Mia calmly continued to listen to the phone call. Daniel’s tone was light-hearted, and he expressed his longing for his wife. He was about to return and felt a sense of homesickness: “It’s nothing, just miss you, honey. And you, have you missed me?” Suddenly, a cold laughter rang in her ear. Mia realized that the voice on the other end of the line was a bit loud, definitely heard by John. She ignored him and when she answered, she felt extremely guilty, stuttering over a single word. John seemed deliberate, forcefully spreading her legs with his knees, thrusting vigorously. Despite already being wet, he continued with deliberate movements, creating more sounds of water. The silence on the other end lasted for half a minute. Mia clenched her teeth, covering her mouth, the intense impact pushing her to the brink of collapse. Several times when he thrust deeply, she had the urge to scream into the phone. She couldn’t push him away, so she took the initiative to retreat, but as soon as she backed out a bit, he pulled her back forcefully to continue. With no other options, Mia lifted the phone away from the source of the sound and spoke into it with a slight crack in her voice. “Honey, the signal on this call might be bad. I’ll call you back after I finish bathing.” Mia said the lie smoothly, despite her scattered thoughts and emotions. She was about to hang up when he quickly stopped her. “I’ll bring you some sausages you like, just cooked?” he offered. “No need, honey.” Even though she raised the phone higher, John still heard her words clearly. He lowered his voice to a barely audible level and whispered in her ear, “So you like eating hotdogs, huh?” Knowing it was just another tease, Mia decided not to respond. Suddenly, Mia thought of something. With a hint of urgency in her tone, she asked Daniel, “Honey, where are you?” “Downstairs at the convenience store. I was going to buy some for you, but there were too many people in line, and the good ones were already sold out.” Mia was shocked, stuttering as she tried to maintain her composure. “Why… aren’t you… aren’t you coming back today? Didn’t we still have a week left?” She gestured to John, reminding him that Daniel was coming back. “Honey, I just finished working out and I’m a bit hungry. Can you buy me some sausages? Buy a few more.” The phone was slammed into the receiver. Mia broke out in a cold sweat as John stuck to her as if nothing had happened. “Hurry up and get dressed, he’s coming back!” she urged. “What’s the rush?” he continued, undeterred. “Don’t we still have to wait for the sausages? We still have some time. Let me have a few more rounds.” “What time is it already?” Mia was on the verge of losing her temper, yet she still had to waste time dealing with him. Seeing that Mia was really getting angry, John loosened his grip on her waist, staring down at her face. He tried to take advantage, “Can I still contact you?” “Yes.” With that answer, John straightened up and pulled out his glistening, juice-covered shaft. “Working out consumes a lot of energy. Will sausages be enough?” Mia sighed, “What else do you want?” “Eat a bite of mine.” Mia refused and squeezed past him, quickly finding new bedsheets to change into. She then hurried to wipe away any suspicious marks on the bathroom door, picking up the clothes from the floor one by one. She threw hers into the laundry basket and handed his to him. “Hurry up and get dressed, you have two minutes.” After saying that, she quickly went outside to check for any signs of their encounter. John quickly put on his clothes, draped his suit jacket over his arm, and picked up his phone from the bed before handing it to Zhou Ning. “Enter your real number.” Last time, she had given him a fake number, and when he called, it was answered by a rough man speaking in a thick dialect. After Zhou Ning entered her number, he dialed again to confirm it was real before leaving satisfied. John walked out of the apartment building feeling content, heading towards the convenience store nearby. Several people were gathered in front of the convenience store. He deliberately slowed down as he passed by, scrutinizing their faces until he finally confirmed one man with a square face and a sincere look. Seeing the man with a suitcase, John confirmed that he was Mia’s husband. John found the phone number of the gym manager. “David, help me “Our store’s membership information.” “Sure, Mr. John, what’s the name?” “Mia, check if she has a couple’s card.” After a brief pause on the other end: “Yes, Mr. John, she has one with her husband, Daniel.” “The first prize for the anniversary celebration is reserved for him. Notify them to come and claim the prize tomorrow.” “Okay.” John estimated that Daniel had entered the elevator and quickly called Mia. Mia’s voice sounded extremely nervous, as if she was about to hang up in the next second. “Darling, let’s meet at the gym tomorrow. How about I teach you how to swim?” Footsteps echoed in the corridor. After Mia casually agreed, she quickly hung up. Fortunately, Daniel didn’t notice anything unusual. He simply asked why there was water everywhere while taking a shower, but fortunately, there were no further questions. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Daniel had been deployed overseas for three months and was eager for his wife. After showering, he eagerly took her to bed. Little did he know that Mia had already been drained dry and couldn’t be bothered to even lift her eyelids. He entered silently, and Mia didn’t even notice. After a few movements, Daniel felt a tingling sensation from the excessive wetness. “Darling, you’re so wet, so much water…” Mia moaned in response. These few moans greatly surprised Daniel. He realized that his wife, who had always been shy and reserved, rarely initiated intimacy, let alone moaned. His wife’s reaction excited Daniel, and he ended up getting carried away. Afterward, with a satisfied expression on his face, he even suggested using thinner condoms next time. Upon hearing this, Mia felt a twinge of sadness. She felt guilty for betraying Daniel, especially since she had let another man ejaculate inside her during the affair. She hugged Daniel from behind, pressed her face against his back, and closed her eyes full of guilt. But as she closed her eyes, all she could think of was John’s heavy breathing and the throbbing sensation as he entered her. “Your husband asked me to take care of you.” The next day, Mia slept until noon, feeling as if her bones were crushed. Daniel woke up late too, but he had already prepared the meal by the time Mia woke up. “Wake up, honey, wash up and eat. After breakfast, let’s go to the gym.” When he mentioned the gym, Mia suddenly remembered John’s phone call from the previous night, mentioning meeting at the gym. Stretching lazily, she asked, “Why are we going to the gym?” “Last night, the manager over there informed me that I won the first prize, a massage chair. I was just thinking about buying one, and now I’ve won it.” “Really? That’s lucky.” Mia yawned and went into the bathroom. While brushing her teeth, she processed the information: winning a prize, a massage chair, claiming the prize… Wait a minute, wasn’t the lucky draw activity exclusive to new customers? What does it have to do with them? In the afternoon, when Mia and Daniel arrived at the gym in their workout clothes to claim the prize, Mia immediately understood when she saw the well-dressed John in the lobby. He wasn’t wearing a suit, but he stood out among the row of staff in suits and ties. His hair was wet, a few strands falling casually over his forehead. He wore a white t-shirt and loose shorts, with a youthful and exuberant smile on his face. When Mia’s eyes met his, she quickly looked away and stepped back behind Daniel. The familiar manager led them to John. John restrained his smile and shook hands with Daniel. “Mr. Daniel, congratulations.” The manager introduced, “This is our store manager, Mr. John.” Mia rolled her eyes inwardly, realizing that it really was related to him. Mr. John, bah, he should just disappear. John could sense Mia’s silent criticism and glanced at her. Mia immediately behaved herself, unable to tell that he could be serious when needed. Daniel, being a marketing manager, was particularly sensitive about Mia’s identity, and he immediately reached out to shake hands with John. “Pleasure to meet you, and thank you, John.” “It’s nothing,” John said with a mysterious smile, subtly withdrawing his hand. “In the future, Mr. Daniel, I’ll need your understanding.” While these words sounded like pleasantries to Daniel, Mia understood the deeper meaning behind them.
