After walking out of the ballroom, I went straight into the forest and shifted. I gave full control to my wolf and he took off immediately while I screamed at him in my frustration.
'You are a lucky bastard she didn't run away from us!'
I was so worried the moment she saw my real identity that it was the end for us. That was not the way I wanted to introduce her into our world. I wanted to take it slow and with my mother’s help, I knew she would get accustomed to the new situation well.
