My pair of eyes altered its color to flickering red. I've shouldn't trust him if he was a mortal. He took a few strides backward when he saw the pigment red on my eyes. He cracked up.
“I am your friend Prince Asa, we are not a counterpart and opposite.”
I let a growl of laughter without humor.
“Are you a vampire?” I ask as I walk near him.
“No,” he replied immediately.
“Then we are opposite.” I said as I continue to near him, “I can smell your blood, it's sweet.”
“But I am not human either.”
I was instantly taken aback from striding towards him. My set of eyes get back to their usual color. My gape never left his face.
“Then who are you?” I paused for a moment, “I mean what are you if you are not human?”
He chuckled and catch a glimpse of me.
