Trinity's pov
It had been around 3 months since I was taken, which meant I had been stuck in this house for 3 months longer than I wanted.
I Hated it There was just myself and Pam she was an older woman late 50s I would say. The way she came across made me wonder if she was also kept here against her will.
I think back to the day I woke up here, I was laid on the couch downstairs trying to open my eyes, feeling as though I had been hit by a truck! hearing voices, I slowly began to come to life pushing myself up. The two voices sounded as though they were having some sort of heated debate, yet I couldn't quite make out the words they spoke.
I tried my best to focus looking around to see a figure standing beside me, I panicked at the sudden appearance, crawling as far back into the couch as I could possibly go, trying to focus my sight on the unfamiliar person before me.
She was an older woman, she looked down on me giving me an unfamiliar look, "about time you woke up I was beginning to think I was going to have to dig a hole for you in the garden," she rolled her eyes in annoyance.
" Who are you?" I croaked my voice barely making a sound.
" I'm pam, diners ready in half an hour," she began walking around the room laying placemats on the table behind the couch I was on.
Looking around I took in my surroundings the white wooden fireplace surrounded by the white walls, I was on a black leather couch and the table where Pam was standing held a beautiful vase of tulips, everything in its place, this woman had to have OCD I thought as I looked up to see Pam staring at me "upstairs first room on the left is your room, in there is a change of clothes, the next door down is a bathroom you can shower before dinner dear" she spoke curtly.
"Why am I here? how did I even get here" I asked still looking around at me, I then noticed it was just the two of us so who was she talking to? "who were you talking to before?"
Pam paused turning to face me " look this can be as easy or as hard as you make it, I'm not answering 101 questions, all I know is your here until someone figures out what to do with you." she shrugged.
"Where's Hunter? I need to speak to him, let him know I'm ok...?" she just stared at me blankly.
"I'm sorry” she mumbled turning to place the cutlery down.
" At least tell me who brought me here?" I'm not sure why I'm asking she didn't look like she was about to give up any information.
She kept her back to me "Dinner won't be long" she walked off ignoring my question.
Realising I was now on my own, I focused on the black front door, it was about 15 feet away from me. I knew I could make it I would be long gone before Pam even realised I had moved from the couch.
Slowly I got up to my feet, I took a moment to listen to the pots and pans crashing together confirming Pam was still busy cooking away in the kitchen.
I ran as fast as I could, reaching the door I grabbed the handle opening it, a rush of relief flushed through my body as I realised it was unlocked. swinging the door open I tried running out but I slammed into an invisible wall, seeing my freedom merely inches away I tried my hardest to push myself out the door landing several punching on the unknown wall, there was no hope, I couldn't get through.
"That won't get you anywhere, there is a force field around the house, you can't escape" pam stood watching me while she dried a pan with a tea towel.
I had tried several times to escape since then each time failing miserably, Pam never tries to stop me, she must know it was hopeless.
And that leads me to today, I had hoped Hunter would have found me by now. maybe he thought I had run away or was killed and had given up hope, a thousand possibilities running through my head, I hoped I was wrong, he had to be looking for me, surely he could feel I was still alive.
Dom's pov
To say things were bad would be a complete understatement. I had taken over the running of the day-to-day pack duties because Hunter was in no fit state.
Sitting in his office I've been staring at the map in front of me for the past two hours, Hunter was adamant he could feel her still but there was no area left we hadn't searched which means Trinity must be in another pack's territory.
The night Trinity went missing, Hunter lost it, he frantically searched for days, he didn't eat or sleep, he became unpredictable. We've had every possible pack member traveling far and wide trying to find even the smallest clue of her whereabouts.
It had become obvious that a darker force must have taken her, she was strong she would have fought and there was no sign of a struggle anywhere. there has been talk that she simply couldn't cope with everything and walked out. I didn't believe that for one second, she was a fighter I never knew that girl to give up on anything.
It hurt me not only to see my best friend in so much pain but my girlfriend Ashley was so close to Trinity, she missed her terribly.
when she found out Trinity was gone she cried for days, even now one month on if I walk in catching her unexpectedly she would quickly wipe away her tears if only there was something else I could do.
We had gone down every possible route to find her, our last hope was placed in Ophelia, she had come to do locator spells previously but failed, something was blocking her magic, it was like Trinity had just fallen off the edge of the world.
Ophelia was due back tomorrow with Mara her daughter, she had something that she wanted to try, however, this involved Hunter being present which I was kind of nervous about.
He just wasn't himself which is understandable it is known that when a Lycan loses his mate a part of them also dies they are never the same some have been known to die shortly after their mate others slowly deteriorate and go crazy.
Hunter being a hybrid meant everything was stronger, even the pain. If he's not drinking he's picking fights with people, smashing things, disappearing for days at a time, he was losing it there was no doubt about it.
The last couple of days he's not spoken to anyone, he's been locked in his room, even his mother isn't getting through to him, which meant we were slowly losing him, if we don't find something soon I fear there will be nothing left of Hunter.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in" I shouted, in walked Evans, he looked exhausted, along with me he was in charge of all the search parties.
He slumps down on the chair in front of me looking beaten. "The last groups just got back, nothing to report I'm afraid" he rubbed his face trying to wake himself up.
"s**t" I cursed, leaning back closing my eyes.
Evans leans forward scanning the map "Is there anywhere else we haven't tried, maybe we should go over everywhere once more, we must have overlooked something, nobody just vanishes like this"
"No, she's not here, I've looked at this map for weeks, she's got to be outside the territory, either that or she has been portaled somewhere" I answered.
"Hunter said he could still feel her close though, she has to be here somewhere"
" Hunter doesn't know what he feels at the minute, his heads all over the place, he just doesn't want to admit she's gone"
It was silent for a few moments before Evans spoke up.
"What if the whispers hold some truth? what if she did leave of her own accord, maybe we need to consider this as a possibility now"
looking him in the eye I see regret all over his face as soon as the words left his mouth " I'm sorry" he was quick to add holding his hands up in defeat.
"There's no way she would have just left like that, someone has her" I was quick to put him straight on the matter.
My only hope is now left in the hands of Ophelia I pray she can do something before we lose Hunter as well.
