7, going home

Dom's pov

I hadn't slept, I just laid here watching Ashley sleep, stroking her hair softly not to wake her. I stayed up all of last night, Ashley had told me all she heard between Jennifer and Jessica, the flashback of the night Trinity went missing. It made me feel sick to my stomach that Ashley was that close to it all, I thank the heavens that she only had her memories wiped and was not killed.

I knew something was going on, Hunter wasn't acting like himself, but for the life of me I couldn't quite work out why Jennifer wanted Trinity gone.

What was the link between Jennifer and Jessica, I had just realised we knew nothing about her, what pack she came from, who her parents are Hunter had put his trust in Jennifer and she brought a stranger on here.

What annoyed me more than anything else, we went to speak to him last night but he wasn't in his room, so heading to his office we saw none other than Jessica and Hunter going upstairs hand in hand, I fear it may be too late to stop Hunter from doing something he will regret.

"Have you been awake all night?" Ashley asked in her soft morning voice. she turned to wrap her arm around me.

I rub my hand up and down her back gently. "I just don't know what to do"

"We still need to speak to him, but I'm worried he won't believe us, we have to find out whats going on between them and put a stop to it" Ashley replied while climbing over the top of me to get out of bed.

"Hmmm, your right but it's still worth speaking to him, im not losing my best friend to a crazy bimbo" I pushed back my covers to get out of bed, pulling on my trousers and shirt.

"Stay in bed, get some sleep you look tired" she insisted wrapping her arms around my waist.

I held her tightly, resting my chin on her head, letting out a loud breath "I can't, I need to go have a couple of hours out looking for Trinity before I need to meet Hunter in his office, there are some people I know who may have seen something, I doubt anything will come of it but it's worth a try. I've got to get her back here before Hunter loses it completely, with a bit of luck she will throw that bimbo out the house" I mused.

" I miss her" Ashley whispered.

"I know you do, and so do I, she will come back to us don't worry," I say as I kiss her on her forehead before releasing her.

We finish getting dressed and begin to head downstairs, I needed to get going as soon as possible preferably before Hunters up and about, Ashley was helping with breakfast duty today so I was calm knowing she would have people around her until I got back.

As we are about to part ways I pull Ash into a hug once more, "be safe my love"

A sudden bang against the door took both our attention away from each other, another bang suddenly the door flew open wide.

"It can't be" I whispered in shock.

It was Trinity, soaked in blood cuts across her face and body, then my eyes landed on her stomach, her rounded stomach, she's pregnant?

"Thank God, Dom Please help her" she pleaded as she held up an older lady. "help her please" she repeated.

Ashley ran by her instantly wrapping her arms around her "I've missed you so much"

I came back to reality, I had zoned out as soon as my eyes set on her belly, I ran forward taking the older woman from Trinity's side, picking her up I ran her immediately to the pack doctor.

"No, Please, Trinity needs help to you must protect the baby" the woman groaned as she was in and out of consciousness trying to reach out for Trinity.

I let the doc take her, as pure panic ran straight through me, Was Hunter still with Jessica I couldn't let Trinity walk in the bedroom and see something without knowing what was going on, this isn't good.

Trinity's pov

We left the house which had been my prison for months now getting into Pam's car, I was like a child on Christmas morning I just wanted to be in Hunter's arms, after all this time we were going to be together again.

We headed down the drive which was a short dirt track leading onto an open road. We had only been in the car traveling mere minutes before three cars raced up behind us.

"This might not be as easy as I thought" I heard pam say, looking around they now had us boxed in.

"Who are they?" I asked her.

"They must have been left to watch us while your father was away" she panicked.

We were stuck still driving at speed, I urged pam to push them out the way "floor it, we just need to get closer to Hunter's pack house they won't follow us there" she tried going faster-pushing past them, several attempts and they were still pushing back, our vehicle just wasn't powerful enough.

"Can't you use your magic, stop their cars" I shouted.

" I can't, my powers have been limited I can only use them with your father's permission" she panicked.

"Great" I answered sarcastically as I hunted around looking to see if there was anything I could use to my advantage.

As I climbed through into the back seats, I felt one of the cars collide with the back end of pams, I was violently thrown across to the other side of the seat, my body crashing against the door, I held my stomach tightly trying my best to keep my baby safe.

The next moment I opened my eyes slowly, my head was spinning, I was laid in the car still, it took me a good minute to realise I was on the roof, the car had overturned and we looked as though we were in some sort of ditch. all I could concentrate on was the overpowering smell of blood, it was fresh "pam" I voice croaked as I looked through my blurry eyes for her.

I felt a hand gripping the hair on the back of my head pulling me out of the vehicle through the window, as I was pulled to my feet I saw 3 men, one was holding onto Pam who was clearly struggling to stand the other two holding onto me one either side of me.

"Pam, are you ok?" she looked like she was bleeding badly on her stomach, I was struggling to hold myself back, the blood was so intoxicating, my thirst was beginning to get the better of me.

"Trinity are you ok, the b-baby" she choked back the tears as the man holding her punches her in her face knocking her back "shut up" he grabbed her hair again pulling her down close to him. I watched as he pulled a knife out of his pocket, holding it up to her throat she silently began sobbing.

I saw red, I didn't even feel myself change the look on Pam's face gave it away, I pushed away from the two men holding me sending them flying to the ground, I charged forward grabbing the man that was holding the knife to Pam's throat. Holding onto the knife I snatch it backward away from Pam, I snap his head to the side sinking my teeth into his neck. the feeling of the warm goodness sliding down my throat instantly giving me an instant spike of adrenalin. my blood intake recently had spiked even though I used to a lot more now it was nothing like the fresh blood straight from the vein.

I heard running behind me, I dropped the lifeless body to the ground before turning my attention to the idiots running at me. But before they could reach me, I jumped into the air towards them snapping their heads clean off as I landed on top of them. I heard another car coming down the road at speed, taking hold of Pam's arms and walking her to one of the vehicles belonging to the unknown men.

I try to calm myself remembering all that Dom taught me in my driving lessons, and I put my foot down and began to head in the direction of home.

Reaching the packhouse I became nervous, thoughts running through my head that I hadn't even considered, what if Jennifer had turned everyone against me, what if she was keeping Hunter from finding me, had he even been looking for me?

Pulling up I jumped out, my body starting to feel tired from all that's happened so far this morning.

I opened Pam's door and helped her out keeping hold of her arm, her other hand was pressed against her stomach suppressing the bleed still.

We hobbled to the front door fumbling for the handle trying not to let go of Pam, as it opened I was instantly relieved to find my two good friends standing before us at the bottom of the stairs "thank god, Dom please help her" I pleaded. Before I knew what was happening Ashley was hugging me, Dom was soon by our side taking Pam in his arms he lifted her taking off at speed to the pack doctor.

Leaving me and Ashley on our own I embrace her in a bear-like hug once again.

"Are you ok?" I ask her not wanting to let her go, I've missed her so much.

She pulled back looking at me taking in my appearance with tears in her eyes.

"Never mind me, your all cut up and....wait" her eyes land on my belly, she reached her hands forward to hold my bump "you're pregnant" she whispered.

"Yeah, surprise" I sang in a high-pitched tone.

"Oh God, im going to cry" she fanned her face smiling, then hugged me once again.

"Where's Hunter? I need to see him" I pulled away walking towards his office.

"Still in bed I think, I'll go and get him" she offered looking a bit worried.

"No it's ok I'll go, I've missed him so much" I started running towards the stairs.

"No, Trinity you go get cleaned up I'll get him" she pulled me back, blocking the stairs, why didn't she want me to go upstairs?

I stared at her for a second noticing the sheer panic on her face. "What's going on Ashley" she looked upstairs then back at me not saying anything.

I pushed past her and ran up the stairs, hearing Ashley calling me back.

I reached his door nervous of what was behind it, what didn't she want to see.

I pushed the door open "Hunter" I called out, I stopped my heart sank there he was in bed with a woman her head and on his chest.

He had moved on, I was right he hadn't been looking for me he was with another woman.

Stepping further into the room Hunter's head shot up "Trinity" he whispered rubbing his eyes.

it was at this moment I snapped.
