It’s finally the day of our engagement ball. This has been a busy couple of days. The emails had rolled in one after the other. It seems that everyone is very keen to be here today. Everyone wants to impress the new King and Queen. It sometimes still feels so unrealistic. I can’t imagine that I’m going to be the Queen. Maylea has been very vocal these last couple of days. She isn’t happy. She had run to Marcus as I thought she would and he told her that Madam Chari was right. He ensured her that he has been to kind to them and their behavior and he wasn’t going to take it anymore. At least that is what I heard. She has been attacking me verbally ever since then.
