45. Khan's Enterprise

Isn't it a natural behavior when a man realizes that someone else wants to take over his property, then he will pay full attention to it and keep an eye on it? Triangle love stories that are full of intrigue and obsession usually won't end happily. Delisha has watched and read many similar stories. For example, Romeo and Juliet, or the story of a couple who met in Bali and a romantic drama which in each episode made the audience cry, apparently none of the men got the woman because the woman died of blood cancer. Even though Imdad never mentioned about Devdas, Delisha knew that Imdad had secretly ordered his men to throw away the gifts for her that Devdas sent every day. Throwing it away was unmitigated, roses and chocolate were crushed, mixed in a box, and then sent back to the sender. Employees in their office are now making gossip about this and even created a special forum on their chat application. The biggest question is who will be chosen by Miss Marianne Webster and the impact on the condition of the world economy. Heh, like the title of a scientific paper. Delisha feels humid in the office. Fortunately, Fairouz Khan's return to India and contacting her to meet was a refreshment. This time, she met Fairouz Khan at Khan's Enterprise. "Oh, lovely lady, welcome, welcome!" said Fairouz with outstretched arms about to embrace her. Delisha chose to close her palms in front of her chest and salute the inanimate man. "Namaste, Mr. Khan! How are you?" Fairouz lowered his hand nonchalantly. "Oh, you are starting to keep the distance from me, Miss Webster, you seem to have adapted well to India." He leaned his face toward the woman in light blue salwar-kameez and glanced, "Aren't you curious about the s****l abilities of vampires?" "Sir, didn't you call me to discuss the Xin India investment? So let's just discuss that, and nothing else," snapped Delisha. Devdas and Imdad had enough for her, she did not want to complicate the situation with the presence of a fourth person. They sat across from the sofa covered in black leather. Delisha took out her file while Fairouz approached her again with his body leaning forward. "s****l intercourse can make our business affairs easier, ma'am, you must know that very well," said the man, grinning. Delisha tilted her head in astonishment at what Fairouz said. "What do you mean, Mr. Khan?" Fairouz's room door suddenly opened and a woman with black hair in a bun burst in. Her gray bead shot Fairouz Khan a sharp, cold look. The woman in the black blazer and mini skirt closed the door by slamming it and then rushed over to Fairouz. She stood with hands on her hips and scolded Delisha. "Oh, so this is Miss Marianne Webster? I thought what kind of person she was, just so-so. Somehow this woman could fulfill Devdas' taste. Just because of her Star Corp let Khan's go?" said the woman, all Delisha knew she is Mahalakshmi Dawson, Fairouz's colleague. They spoke as if Delisha was just an inanimate object in the room. "Let's taste the woman who can conquer Devdas," sighed Mahalakshmi as she twisted her body to Fairouz's side and together with the man, slowly crawled toward Delisha whose forehead was knitted deep in surprise at their behavior. "I know there is something special about this woman. Her blood feels different from ordinary people. Very unique and ... exciting!" Their gray eyes flashed like a vortex that sucked in the energy around them. Those gray eyes .... For a moment Delisha focused on Fairouz's eyes and her head became slightly dizzy. She felt cold hands brush over her body. When Delisha blinked her eyes, it hit her consciousness. The two creatures' hands slipped under her clothes and Fairouz's head was bent around her neck, while Mahalakshmi grabbed her wrists and licked the skin in the area. Delisha gasped and immediately grabbed her hand, then pushed Fairouz away. The two of them froze and there were two fangs in can be seen at the slit of their slightly open lips. "You guys hypnotized me!" snapped Delisha. Fairouz and Mahalakshmi were flabbergasted. "You're not affected?" muttered Fairouz. Mahalakshmi grunts irritably. "Whatever, we cannot let this woman go!" growled the arrogant woman. "Wait a minute!" argued Fairouz while pulling Mahalaksmi's shoulder as she was about to hit their potential victim. Mahalakshmi doesn't heed the man. She tugged Fairouz's hand off her shoulder. Delisha couldn't see the lifeless creature's vital points, but it felt like she had a powerful weapon against them. She took out the emblem of The Lady from her bag and raised it in front of Mahalaksmi's face. "Dare to touch me, then you will deal with the Underworld Trial!" threatened Delisha. Mahalakshmi and Fairouz jerked backward and an angry snake hissing sounded from their mouths. "Hisssh ... you have the emblem of The Lady ?? No way!!" "Of course it's possible because The Lady herself handed me this emblem!" said Delisha arrogantly as she stood up and pointed the emblems at the two vampires. "I don't care, that badge is useless!" dissed Mahalaksmi without Fairouz being able to catch her, she lurched at Delisha. The Lady's emblem forms a wave of energy that protects the user from the dangers of Underworld creatures. Mahalakshmi bounced off and hit Fairouz's desk. The woman grimaced in pain but was able to get up quickly. "God damn it!" she cursed. Her black hair was disheveled. Her hands clenched into fists and her breath snorted like a fire dragon. Meanwhile, the woman she was about to fight stood tall and stared at her with pity. "Mahalakshmi, baby, calm down first!" cried Fairouz in panic. The woman glanced at him sharply. Fairouz is indeed a man who is indecisive and tends to be friendly. "Why are you so emotional? We can have a good talk," Fairouz persuaded. "The business deal with Xin India is better than with Star Corp. You should be glad Star Corp let us go, they won't pressure us to their heart's content anymore !!" Mahalakshmi frowns with tears. "But what about the golden formula they promised?" she whined. Fairouz approached her and cupped her cheek. "Oh, baby, don't worry, my research will find it, trust me, I guarantee I won't let you down," he sighed softly. "So the golden serum formula from Star Corp is what you're worried about?" interrupted Delisha. The pair of immortals turned to her. Delisha took down The Lady's emblem and glanced at them kindly. A cute dimple smile spread across her face. "Don't worry, using the gold of the Indian Xin, we will fully support the development of the serum, and that, Miss, Mr. Khan, includes the formula for the gold serum you want." Fairouz and Mahalakshmi stare at her in disbelief. They don't know Delisha is from the future and the technology it brings. Khan's and their future counterparts came under the control of Star Corp apparently due to the serum gold formula issue. Fortunately, the gold dust found in Khan's factory at that time was kept by Professor Sisilia and analyzed. Initially, the serum was thought to be used as a cosmetic ingredient as well as medicine to prolong life because gold was believed to rejuvenate body cells. The gold powder database is on her cellphone. Khan can develop it, definitely. "Xin has the formula? How come?" asked Mahalaksmi doubtfully. "We'll see, Miss Mahalakshmi!" Delisha replied as she sat back on the sofa and opened a draft of the cooperation between Xin India and Khan's Enterprise. "Don't underestimate Xin India, Miss. Now, let's seal our cooperation," she said while inviting Fairouz to sign the cooperation agreement. Fairouz sat opposite her and signed. Meanwhile, Mahalakshmi who was standing behind him closed her mouth, folded her arms over her chest. "Sorry, we misunderstood your relationship with the CEO of Star Corp," said Fairouz reluctantly. Delisha just smiled in response to that. Ah, you guys just don't know, she thought. After tidying up their cooperation papers and storing them in her bag, Delisha thought of something. "Mr. Fairouz, if I may know, why are you keeping your species identity so secret? Isn't there a lot of admirers in the world for vampires?" Fairouz Khan laughed dryly. "I'd rather live in mystery, make us interesting creatures, hahha!" Then he said again, "Uh, not really," he corrected. "Actually, we want to live in socialization with all human beings without prejudice. But for the benefit of the people and world peace, we choose to keep ourselves low profile. "We have a dark history and are considered sadistic for consuming human blood - and killing - but like other creatures, we also have feelings and want to be recognized as beings who can also contribute to this world. It's just that society's response will be different if they equate us as Satan or devil worshipers. We became the target of human fears of the last day and the punishment. Humans slaughtered and hunted us as if they had the most right to live and the holiest. "Even though we are just like any other created beings, some are good, some are evil and we are sometimes even more human than beings called humans," said Fairouz with a bitter expression on his face. A shadow of the battlefield hundreds of years ago flashed in his eyes. Hundreds of human lives flew in his hands. He had to do it in order to defend himself and his clan. Delisha got up from the chair. "We'll see in the future, Mr. Fairouz, what your contribution to this world will be," she said and then said goodbye to Fairouz and his female colleagues. Delisha left Khan's Enterprise when the sun overhead. From behind the opaque glass in the corner of her room, Mahalakshmi Dawson watched Delisha leave and she made a phone call. The number answers the call. "I can't kill her," Mahalakshmi said to her interlocutor. "She has the gold serum formula Fairouz wants and above all ... she holds the emblem of The Lady." After a few seconds, the call was ended and Mahalakshmi lowered the phone. She bit her lip in annoyance. How could a runny child-like Marianne Webster change Devdas? While she, who has known Devdas for decades and has often become his companion occasionally, has never received proper treatment. If she had a life, she would have died long ago at Devdas's hand. Meanwhile, that woman could walk out of Devdas' room alive. How unexpected. "s**t!!" she shouted. "Damn Devdas!!"
