Chapter 3: The Cooperation

"Lu Rongshen guzzled you with wine and faked the accident after you fainted last night. I saved you from the car accident. But everyone think you’re dead now."
He placed a cell phone in front of Lin Bingqing, "if you don't believe what I said, you can check the news online, or watch TV, there should be a lot of reports." He added.
Lin Bingqing did not take his mobile phone, and instead she pinched at the newspaper in her hand.
The tears rolled down like beads from broken string from her eyes, while her body was still trembling.
She doesn't need to check, because the person in front of her look the same as the one she saw in the pictures.
As Lin's daughter, Lin Bingqing knows pretty well about Gu Beicheng.

Lin Bingqing did have doubts over the cause of her parents' death. But she had no evidence nor any suspects.
Gu Beicheng looked at Lin Bingqing's hand ,frowned, and removed her hands from his arms with indifference. He resent being touched physically by others.
"There are fingerprints on the wreckage of the car that were not supposed to be there" Gu Beicheng said.
“Whose fingerprints?” Lin Bingqing asked.
"They belong to Lu Rongshen."
Hearing the three words, Lin Bingqing fell down onto the ground.
Gu Beicheng looked down at her, " You still wanna go back now? He dares to kill you again since he didn’t hesitate to do so at first. You might not be afraid of him, but he could get away with what he did to your parents if you insist going back now. "
Lin Bingqing was shaking with so much irritation and hatred as to drown her.
She clenched her teeth and said, "I agree."

It was early in the morning, and Lin Bingqing was lying on the large bed still sleepless.
She has been living in the villa of Gu Beicheng since the day she reached a deal with him.
Everything here is ready and she has a servant at her side to attend to her needs.
However, Lin Bingqing did not feel at ease, as she was quite doubtful inside.
It is of no doubt that she is pregnant with his baby as shown in the DNA test. But it is not convincing enough for Gu Beicheng to help her in her perspective.
Isn't it easy for Gu Beicheng to have a child?
As long as he is willing to have one, there are lots of women ready to do that for him. But why did he choose her?
She decided to get up and have some online background research on Gu Beicheng. This wasn’t the first she had done such thing. But she had the same results after every research.

Apart from information on his achievements and philanthropic causes, nothing else could be found.
Working with such a person, Lin Bingqing does not know what results she will have.
She couldn't help but check her news again, as well as Lu Rongshen and Yun Yuchen. There have been lots of news on how grieved he was since she "died" half a month ago.
Lin Bingqing reacted to all these news with a cold smirk. She was told by Gu Beicheng that all her properties were taken over by Lu Rongshen, who was trying so hard to fake a image of good and affectionate husband.
Day broke at dawn. She took a long sigh as she turned off the computer and went downstairs.
Yesterday Gu Beicheng was said to have a talk with her on the following plans. So it was time for her to get ready for the meeting.
At the table, Lin Bingqing and Gu Beicheng were having a quiet meal.
Watching Lin Bingqing put down the chopsticks, Gu Beicheng had a slight frown.
"Is the food not agreeable to you? Aunt Qin says you usually eat very little. "
He looked at Lin Bingqing, who was skinnier in just half a month.
"No. The food suits me very well." Lin Bingqing replied while shaking her head "I just don't feel hungry." she added.
Gu Beicheng frowned, "You need to take good care of yourself and stay healthy."
The sudden concern made Lin Bingqing's heart beat fast, but she was very clear that Gu Beicheng was not concerned about her but the child in her belly.
"I see. I'll take good care of the baby."
Gu Beicheng frowned, without saying anything.
He turned around and took a paper bag from the table and handed it to Lin Bingqing. "Your new ID is done."
Lin Bingqing's heart sank. She opened the bag and took out all kinds of identification papers, on which were written a name: Xu Jingyi.
Since the accident, Lin Bingqing has been erased from the world, she needs a new identity to take her avenge.
Gu Beicheng calmly said, "I have arranged for a plastic surgeon for you to make some changes on your appearance, and no one will recognize you."
