I woke up with a smile on my face. I fell asleep while video chatting with Paolo. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw his smiling face on the phone. I chuckled and turned the call off, then went to sleep.
When I woke up, there’s a message from him saying “Good morning. See you later at school.”
I replied “Good morning” back and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine and went downstairs to have breakfast. I ran into my sister Elsa on the stairs. He gasped as he saw me.
Emmy: “What?”
Elsa pulled me back into my bedroom and had me face the mirror while pointing at my neck. I gasped as I covered the hickey with my hand. I totally forgot about it. Thankfully, my sister saw me before I got downstairs.
Elsa: “Is Joseph back?”
Emmy: “Uhm, no. Someone else gave me this.”
