Since I met that man, my dreams had been invaded by his handsome face. And it's not good. Not good at all. Especially when I have jobless life I need to remedy soon or Bran and I will end up homeless.
This is the second week that I had been looking for work since I got fired from my last one. I've been rejected one after another. Maybe I was too naive to think that I would get a job easily in this city. Aspen is smaller than the last one Bran and I lived but there are more job opportunities here. Or so I thought.
The savings I had and put away from working ever since we left the island is getting drained quick. Bran's birthday is in two days from now and I always wanted to bring him to see a circus. He's turning seven.
