*Rains POV* 

After the gun fired something went off in him. He looked angry and cold, he grabbed his gun and ran down stairs after angrily telling me to stay put. I laid Rebecca down in her bassinet and peeked out the bedroom door and that when I saw the most horrific thing. There were men and women everywhere wearing black and shooting at each other. I couldn’t tell who was who everything was moving so fast and that’s when I saw him. Blade with an angry look on his face fighting and shooting anyone who crossed him until all of them dead. 

“Someone clean this s**t up” Blade said as he walked towards the kitchen 

I grabbed Rebecca and went down the hall to the room that Sophia was staying in and she was setting there reading. I walked in and she looked up at me and asked “is it over” as calmly as possible I looked at her and asked “what do you mean? Do you know what just happened?” And she looked up and me and said “my dear I’ve lived this life far to long to worry when someone attempts to break in” 

Then Blade came busting in the door and looked around I guess to check on us and then walked out. I sat with Sophia until it got late and then went back to Blades room but he wasn’t there, I took a quick shower and as I was getting out I saw him setting on the edge of the bed and he just looked at me aggravated and said “You can go, you get your wish leave when you please I’ll be working through the night” and after he said that he walked out the door. I felt a tear go down my cheek as I went into the other room to dry my hair so I don’t get sick in the cold tonight. 

*Blades POV* 

Did I really want her to leave? No. But she made me week. I should’ve been more alert and in the office watching the security cameras as I do every day at that time. This all could’ve been prevented but instead I decided to spend time with her. I can’t go soft. I can’t become week. 

*Rains POV* 

I was done drying my hair and I put on my shoes and sat the phone he gave me on the night stand and headed out the front door. James was outside smoking and asked where I was going.

“He told me to leave” I said as I started to walk away 

“He didn’t mean it Rain” He said as I was walking away from him 

“He did. And I’m not staying where I’m not wanted. I don’t belong here in the first place” I said with tears going down my cheeks. 

“Please just wait one minute” James begged as he went towards the door putting his head in he shouted for Christopher and then started to walk towards me. Christopher came outside and walked towards us with a confused look on his face 

“What is going on? Why are you outside it’s freezing” he said as he walking towards me 

“Well let me just give you one hint, Blade” James said 

“Oh, what did he do now” Christopher asked me 

“Nothing” I said “it’s just time that I go” 

“Rain, whatever he did he will regret it in the morning or even before” Christopher said with a concerned look on his face. 

“I would like to leave now” I said as I started walking away 

“James drop her off at a nice Hotel. And Rain you stay there until tomorrow night, if he hasn’t come by then, which he will, then go but give him that chance.” 

“Fine” I said as me as James headed towards his car.
