Penny marched back and forth in front of me as she relayed what Jania had disclosed. " You both believe she was telling the truth ? " I asked. My search had come up with nothing still. I didn't stay out long. I had to do better with Penny. I couldn't risk her making silly decisions like the one she had made out of anger at me. I had sent men searching in places I knew Jania had visited, her home, for clues also. I'd had to do it away from Kalen, I was placing a lot of trust in my men to not go and tell him.
