Chapter 4

Emma's POV:

God damn this place is huge, wonder how many people live here.

My foot forced my body downstairs, as I walked towards the hallway I just wanted to sleep. Walking here and there, I sighed and stopped. Where the hell is the kitchen? I thought. A idea popped up when a kid passed by, I ran to him and bend down to his level.

"Hi, I am Emma. Do you know where the kitchen is?" I questioned him. He nodded his head and pointed towards the door.

"Thank you," I said as I got up. Opening the door I saw a big kitchen, I mentally face palmed my self. It was just right here.

The whole kitchen looked modern expect for the table. It was a wooden table but it really matched with the kitchen. The light was dim and a slow song was playing. Only few ladies were there most of them were chatting and also cooking something on the stove. I started walking further, I stopped when I saw a woman standing Alone.

Maybe she can tell me where my room is!

I tapped her shoulders, in shock she jumped. I looked at her she had her hair tied up in a bun. Her skin was fair, wrinkles covered her under eyes. She had beautiful blue eyes, she looked in her 40s.

"You must be the human, I am Marley." I didn't like the way she called me a human. Everyone is a human, some of them just have God's blessings. None of that mattered because I needed sleep.

I nodded as she cleaned her hands she turned around and asked "What is your name,"

"Emma," I responded back.

"Emma, nice name. Come on I will show you your room." My heart fluttered when she said that she is going to show my room.

I nodded and she started making her way out of the kitchen, I walked behind her. We walked up, down, right and left, finally she stopped at a door. Opening it I gasped it was magnificent. The walls were painted in peach color, the ceiling was in brown. A bed was placed in the middle, with a night stand and a wardrobe. I looked to my left to see my suitcase.

"You are lucky you got a room on the fourth floor," she said.

"Why?" I asked as I pulled my suitcase on the bed.

"Most teenagers have a room on the first or second. The third and fourth is for the beta and other rankings. Mostly because this floor and the fifth one has silence. No kids playing or screaming around." She said in a breath.

I nodded as I bit my bottom lip.

"Alpha told me to tell you something," My heart skipped a beat when she mentioned the Alpha.

"Yes," I said.

"They are few rules, David must have told you some. School is compulsory and also the dinner. That's all you need to know now, they are some more but he will say them if he needs to. Also, the dinner will be served in an hour," She said as she handed me some keys.

"Okay thank you," I said, she nodded and made her way out before she could step out I called her name.

"Yes," she said as she turned around.

"Do you know where David is," I asked her.

"He must be running the patrols," She said.

"Okay thank you," I said as she left the room. I locked it and hopped on my bed. I dropped down on the fluffy bed, my hair made its way every way.

I unpacked all my stuff, I had to go for shopping since I had really less clothes. I walked to the bathroom and removing my clothes, I shivered as a cold breeze passed through my body. I turned the water on and let it flow. I looked my self at the mirror. I didn't have a curvy body, I was quite slim because I never ate anything.

After 20 minutes I wrapped a towel around my body and walked outside. I pulled on some clothes, my fingers ran through my wet hair. I took a towel and dried my hair, slipping in some sandals I looked the the clock which stated the time on 9:00. I walked out of my room and went downstairs to the room.

Walking downstairs I was pushed through the wall, I looked up to see Alpha Derik. He places his head at either side of my head, I looked up to his eyes which were turning red. His face came closer to mine as I backed up to the wall. He started sniffing around my neck.

"You smell so tasty," he whispered, His hands made his way to my wet hair slowly tangling them.

"You wouldn't mind if I had a taste of you," He whispered again, the hallway where he attacked me was clear.

"U-m Alpha-" his bought his thumb to my lip, shutting me off.

"Call me Derik," he said as he nibbled my earlobe.

"Deri-k," I stuttered, he pulled back.

"You will never call me by my name. Its alpha to you and everyone else." He said, I confusingly looked at him. He pulled me by force, I gasped when his nails dug on my shoulder

"Do you understand," he growled.

"Y-es," I said as I kept my eyes down.

"Ahh," I screamed as he pulled me harshly.

"Yes what," he said.

"Ye-s, Al-pha," I stuttered in fear.

"Good," he said as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Follow me," he said as he started walking in the empty hallway, I walked a inch behind him. We entered a big dining room, it looked like the food table in harry potter. Everyone was sitting, some were eating while others were talking.

"Emma," I looked back to see David.

"David," I said as I hugged him. A growl interrupted, we pulled away. I looked at Alpha Derik, his eyes were again red.

"Derik, are you fine?" David said as he moved towards him.

"Yea," he replied, his eye colour changed back to normal. They both walked towards a round table in the centre. Only a few people were seated including Jean who knocked earlier or else I would be dead by now. David sat next to a woman and Alpha sat next to a guy.

"Sit," I winced when Alpha said, he pointed the chair next to him. No way I was going to sit next to him, but apparently, I did.

Everyone started eating and chatting. I placed the water glass on lips and drank. I felt a warm hand on my thigh, I choked on the water. I looked to see Derik's hand on my thigh. I placed the water on the table and looked at him. His hands moved upwards to my core. I bought my hand on him before I could pull his hand away. He grasped wrist, I winced as I struggled with his hand.

"Please stop," I said, no one could hear us because the whole room was filled up with voices.

"Never," he whispered in my ear.
