The surrounding area sidewalks and roads coming to and going away from aid and disbursement stations has opportunistic punks with a mind for criminal stealing, mugging folks or worse gathering and lurking about. Keep in mind a favorite of those damn thugs is that they will try and rob you in your own driveway like you’re some little old lady who just got back from the grocery store.
